    It would be helpful if the search bar could also detect words or numbers that are written in the notes of a product.

    Have the option to send a link to the payment portal without amount, so the guest can enter their credit card securely. This is especially important for reservations via phone or email.

  5. Availability blocks through different bookable services

    We work with two bookable services; stay and shortstay, using the same rooms. We want to ensure availability until a certain time for our shortstay partners therefore, we are using availability blocks with the moving release option. Unfortunately, the availability blocks are only blocking rooms in one bookable service. Making it possible to book the blocked rooms in the stay bookable service. It would be great if the system blocks these rooms in both services when adding an availability block in one of the services.

  6. Create a Reservation with Product Bug

    If you add a new reservation with a product . Firstly i add it with the Drop Down Product. Then mews adds the product price to the room rate in the editable field and below in the grey total amount. when i now edit the room rate it shows a second field with adtional product but my added product isnt shown the new rate is added with the local tay the right total amount. and now the bug comes when i now confirm the booking the additional product in may case a dog fee gets added.   7. Extended Status Page / minor bug-report

    This is my idea on how Mews could benefit from having an Extended Status Page or a "Minor bug-report".

    Today, we dont have a clear view on what is currently bugged or been worked on by Mews support and their team. This feature would be great thing to minimize the amount of tickets that are being created today.

    I.e. I had no clue, that it currently is a bug that set OOS rooms to Dirty at night due to legionella and that the support team is aware of the issue and are working on a solution. Same goes with Rooms…

  9. Import Companions via Import File

    Would it be possible to Also consider creating a capability within the existing Import File to identify "companions" within a reservation and upload such data into Mews? (Besides the Rooming List template).

    Requesting a Local Time/Date display on the Commander Dashboard for immediate reference to the hotel's local date and time.   14. Restrict Products

    There are other suggestions about restricting products, but would also be good to restrict products by Room category, and rates/ packages/ dates

    For example -
    1 offer a cot to rooms that can only accommodate cots and not to all rooms

    2 offer pet products to rooms that can accommodate a cot and not to all rooms

    3 only offer a product on specific dates, rather than all, or seasonally within a certain date range - Strawberries in Summer

    4 by package type, if a rate includes a product you wont necessarily want to add again

  18. Sort categories by availability

    When you book online, you see the rooms that are available at the top of the page and don't see unavailable rooms until you scroll down the page. But when we book over the phone, the room categories stay in their default order and just show that the room cannot be booked. It would make things a lot easier if the categories were sorted by availability first and then by their default sort.

  19. "Share With" - Share Reservations

    There is a recurring need for hotels to track multiple reservations assigned to a unit. Oftentimes 2+ individuals, arriving at separate times, will each need a reservation for the same unit/dates. Sometime that nightly rate will also need to be split between these reservations.

    De reserveringsbevestigingen voor groepen, meer dan 5 kamers, zijn er onoverzichtelijk. Hiervoor wordt een PDF-bestand toegevoegd, maar dat is nog ingewikkelder voor de gasten om te lezen en begrijpen. Kunnen hier aanpassingen in gedaan worden?
