Reservation colors on Timeline
Currently, you can distinguish reservations on Timeline by once that are checked-in or not. However, with this feature, you will have a better visual difference between departures, arrivals and more.
Hello from the Mews product team. We are pleased to let you know that the new version of Housekeeping and Reservation colors has been released. You can have a look at our release notes at https://releases.mews.com/en.
We would also like to know what you think about these changes and get your feedback. You can answer a quick survey on the link below.

Stronger colours please so easier to differentiate.

Colours on the timeline are very faded into the background and it makes it hard to distinguish for example the red and orange. Maybe the whole room could highlight in the same colour for it to stand out more.

It would be very helpful If we could change the colour of the FEMALE dorms in the Timeline to prevent any issues. Thank you

On the timeline, it's very hard to see the space statutes, especially it's hard to see the difference between blue and green when the lines are also very thin. Please make the colors of the timeline more powerful, like on the arrival overview.

Simple colours away from Grey Grey and a little Black needs to happen. The timeline should be alive and easy to understand what is happening without much more thought.

Please change the colors on timeline easier to spot status of the bookings!

Oh yeah and folios with notes on them would have a "yellow dot" at the end

ADD COLORS to timeline!!!
One thing I sure miss from cloudbeds PMS was all the colors and symbols you could see on their calendar view. Mews is all gray and black, besides being so depressing, it is not user friendly or intuitive.
You should have a green color for IN HOUSE PEOPLE
Gray or black for Checked out guests
Blue or something else for CONFIRMED reservations
Orange or light blue for PENDING status reservations: meaning that if there is something missing (declined cards, cc names not matching, etc) in that reservation we can easily see it
Pending balances used to have a "red dot" at the endThese things make a huge difference. Specially when you are a smaller property that doesn't have a reservations department or manager.

We need to identify fastly the reservation statuts in the Timeline as proposition / Option / partial payment / confirmed (totaly paid) / Check out/ Out of Service / Out of Order / Comp or In house reservation .
A different color for the name for OTA/Agency / group (+ icons to difference the groups each ones)

This will make reservations at one glance so much easier. We use to have the following as an example:
Light blue - provisional no depoist taken
Dark blue - deposit taken
Green - paid in full
Pienk - Auto expire if payment is not loaded
Red - Outstanding account
Yellow - In house
Grey - Checked out and bill settled in fullThis helps so much if you have a lot of rooms to get a status check across all room.
Thank you

Different colors between confirmed reservation and option instead of just a dot line. Makes it easier to recognize for large group bookings.

ADD CHOICE OF COLORS IN RESERVATIONS

Please also add a special icon/color for "late check-outs", so the reception can better distinguish them from "normal" check-out reservations.

Big disappointment that we cannot change color for each reservation as other PMS systems.
It is so helpful for a quick eye overview... -
Miira Radjenovic commented
All other PMS Systems, they are colour coded to stand out. MEWS has too many same colours or slightly the same. May change to brighter colours on the Timeline eg: Green for Arrivals, Pink for Departed, Blue to inhouse/Stays, Orange for Maintenance/Out of Order....
EVENTS - should be alot larger to see than the current view.
Also Days on the Timeline, please give us the option to have them on separate days instead of overlapping, it's such a big mess! -

please give us the choise to put color at our reservation depending on the channel the reservation was made or the segment in order to be easier visually to understand what type of reservation we look.
