  3. Can there be an easy way to design Promotions? Similar to booking.com.

    Select stay dates.
    Select booking dates.
    Select Rate Plan.
    Select Room Types
    Set up discount.
    and run the promotion.

  5. Add possibility to create restriction on number of guests .
    We have golf package for 2 persons. when only 1 golfer, price should be adjusted depending on season and type of room.

    I cannot use the empty bed option as adjustment is changing depending on seasons and room categories.

  6. Would be nice to be able to create rate restrictions on a specific space category (ex : minimum stay of 2 nights on the space category **) but that the general minimum stays restrictions of 4 nights on all properties still apply. It will help to do some revenue management A/B test without breaking the general restrictions or creating dozens of restrictions.
    Could be maybe managed :
    - by being able to select spaces categories by ticking some boxes (such as the 'Days' criteria works in restrictions, where you are able to select/deselect days in restrictions).

  7. Restrict front desk team from overriding rates when making booking. Currently MEWS doesn't provide rate check report to see how much rate difference we are getting from staff making manual bookings. It is crucial for revenue managers to keep this under control in order to maintain the rates. Ideally I think front desk should not have the rights to override any rates.

  8. Who wants to pay VAT on something we didn't get paid for !!!!

    When an item is offered with the Complimentary external payment, cancel the VAT of the item.

  9. Is there any opportunity in the rate management, availability and occupancy screens to always keep the slide bar at the bottom in your screen. Often you wish to slide through the screen, reviewing the top of the screen which simply is impossible.

  10. Display the final value for the fully flex rate in the rate management calender instead of changing everything back to the base rate after 2 weeks. Allows us to track the ratemanagement history

  11. When amending a rate which has packages attached, currently I need to work out (with a calculator) what the rate is without the packages and enter the RO rate for MEWS to add them back on when creating a reservation. Example: Rate is £500 inc bottle of champagne at £50,breakfast at £15 pp, airport transfer at £30... when changing the rate to let us say £400 I need to deduct £400 - 50 - 15pp - 30 and enter the RO rate of £2990 (double occ). I would suggest to enter the package rate and MEWS to deduct the allocations…

  13. think you need to work on that feature a bit so reception aware when a HOUSE USE room checks in, make sure there is a check in and check out solution – otherwise, how do we know if the members of staff is in the room or not???

    And also room changes should be allowed instead of having to delete a space block and create a new one.

    A House room use is a reservation like any other, the only difference is that it does not count into the inventory and revenue.

  15. I need to manage my rates based on their net value to us, eh close out "cheap rates" when we reach a certain occupancy (promotions, special contracted rates etc). I need the ability to close out by rate category which at the moment is only possible if the rate has a different cancellation policy. I need this daily so would be an urgent feature for me and many revenue managers who manage a lot of rates and cant rally close out by rate code.

  17. At the moment, the system only allows to create minimum advance by days. Sometimes we want to have a release of 6 or 12 hours not the entire day but the system doesn't give that option.
    Would be great to have this for establishment that don't have reception 24h.

  19. When clicking on the rate (incl. breakfast) when making a reservation in commander, since the overwrite update of last week, results in a rate excl. breakfast. Also, if we change the rate here, breakfast is only added in the next screen. We only sell room rates incl. breakfast, so this is not really desirable. could the rate stay incl. breakfast, in our configuration?

  20. We have set up different rate types for 1/2 use and 3/4 use per room. The the 3/4 use option is alway first shown, when making a reservation in commander. We would prefer 1/2 use first shown.
