  1. If the client has MMMP active, they would like to be able to look up a reservation number and find then the property, as sometimes people call not knowing which hotel they are staying but giving you only the reservation number.

  3. It would be useful if the "missed check out" status could be represented on the timeline by the reservation changing colour, similar to the "missed departure" status where the reservation changes to orange the day after they were supposed to check out. This could also be shown in the app. Currently the "missed check out" status can only be seen in the Reservations Overview Report.

  4. Currently, Mews does not allow sending an automated email before the guest's arrival to request a bank pre-authorization as a guarantee. It is currently possible to realize a pre-authorization but only on the amount of the reservation. So I want to realize a pre-authorization for the booking amount and add the deposit amount, for example 500 euros. Can you add this feature please?

  5. Adding a mandatory reason for waiving cancellation fees would help with internal auditing and accountability. We have a lot of cases where staff don't remember why the fees were waived and we are losing out on money. Providing this extra option would give the GMs a a good tool to monitor.

  6. It would be very helpful if it was possible to freeze the overbooking lines on top of the timeline while scrolling (akin to freezing panes in excel). Doing that would make it a lot easier for Agents to solve those issues as they'd be able to instantly see where the overbooking could fit, without scrolling between the free spaces and the overbooking line.

  7. When moving an already checked-in reservation at the timeline, there should be a pop up or similar to alert you that you are moving an already checked-in reservation and if you are sure you want to do that. We have had multiple accidents when we have moved a guest who has been checked in and then later we changed some room arrangements for other same day arrivals. This is also because the color for the checked-in reservations is just slightly darker grey which is very easy to miss.

  8. Often employees need just simple information like how much persons are in the house now. For just such a simple qeustions it would be great to email them this information by the report mailing function with a simple mail or better any other messaging system. The excel report is to bulky peoble who just night this simple info stop jusing the excel email report.

    Now it's sometimes difficult to distinguish the line between 2 rooms.

  10. Once a guest purchases an additional product (wine, airport transfer etc.) along with making a room reservation, the Reservations department gets an automatic task.
    As the Front Desk is the department taking care of organising this, it would be useful if you could choose to which department these tasks get assigned to.

  11. Es wäre schön, wenn im Reservierungsüberblick auch die Firma des Gastes aufgezeigt werden könnte. Auf diese Weise sieht man auf einen Blick, welche Anreisen/Abreisen/Bleiben zusammen gehören.

  12. It would be useful to be able to lock the rate of a reservation when making price agreements for a one-time booking, just like you are able to lock the booking to a specific roomnumber. Now, when you or a colleague makes any changes to the reservation, you have the risk of changing the rate.

  14. When you have regular or returing guests it is very unconvenient and unwelcoming that the automatic settlement failure emails are automattically send to the guest, even if the card is on file. Guests do not want to endlesy update theire details again and again and again as they are expecting that after a couple of stays everything is fine for them.

    Solution: allow the Mews Merchant to charge the card linked to the guest and not linked to the reservation.

  15. It would be great if there would be the option to add 'House use' on a recurring basis. (For example to block one room for a weekend each month, to make sure to have availability for VIP guests etc).

  16. There should be a confirmation notice for when a guest confirms an optional reservation.

    For large hotels or companies it is just not efficient to just check regularly. So for me a simple solution would be to have a confirmation notice just like with reservations done through the booking engine.

  17. Beim Anlegen einer Steuerungsregel, wäre es cool, wenn man direkt auch ein festes verknüpftest Profil zusätzlich zum Verantwortlichen auswählen kann, welches der Abrechnung hinzugefügt wird. Safe clicks.

  18. Residents can book their stay with an open end date. Guests are staying for more than 1 year at the same property and instead of offering them an end date and another guest can book the same room, they would like to book it for one guest only.

  20. Bonjour il faudrait que l'on puisse customiser l'e-mail "commande ajoutée" afin de pouvoir faire figurer les conditions d'annulation du tarif au même titre qu'il est possible de le faire sur l'e-mail "confirmation de réservation" reçu par le client.
