Secure Emergency Exports
It is recommended to setup daily or even hourly exports of important reports to prepare for possible desasters. Only Enterprise Subscribers may choose and FTP Export Target. All others are limited to email exports. However, this way massive amounts of sensitive customer data is transmitted over possibly insecure connections (unencrypted email / SMTP). That could be a GDPR violation!
I suggest making secure/encrypted sFTP Exports available for everyone and/or implement a way to guarantee secure email transmission (at least SMTPs with certifcate pinning).

Support cases
When sending Support Cases, we can not see what was already sent, even when receiving a reply we can not see our originally asked question.
It would be good to have an overview of all Support Cases in the company in one place. This makes communication easier and we can always refresh our knowledge by going through tickets instead of asking again and to have One raised case as a one thread.3 votes -
Multiple Out of Order assignments at once
I am suggesting an enhancement to our current system functionality that would significantly improve efficiency in managing room availability.
Currently, our system allows users to mark rooms as out of order individually, necessitating a manual process for each room. However, I propose the implementation of a bulk room blocking feature, enabling users to designate multiple rooms as out of order simultaneously.
This enhancement would greatly benefit our operations, particularly during situations where it's necessary to temporarily remove several rooms from sales availability concurrently. By streamlining the process, we can optimize time and resources, enhancing overall efficiency in our hotel management…

Restrictions rate in combination with company or travelagent
It would be very desirable if the restrictions could allow a rate or rategroup to be opened or closed in combination with a company or travel agency.

Extend booking automatically if future booking(s) isn't locked
When you need to extend a booking, you manually need to move future booking(s) before extending. If the future bookings aren't locked they should just be replaced in the timeline the same way as if you move between spaces.
The problem happens when hotels are quite fully booked and you need to remove space for reservations and the puzzle it all together again after extending the one reservation in question.

Zero Balance Required for Check-in
We would like to require all bookings to have zero balance, or be linked to a ledge in order to proceed to check-in. We run a lean operation and all our bookings should be fully pre-paid at time of booking or upon arrival, we want to disable the ability to check-in a booking if there's a balance outstanding.

Search bar in Check Out Report screen
It would be awesome and time saving to have a search bar in the check out report screen - instead of having to ctrl + F to find reservation here as this screen is amazing to use for checkouts and being able to see the bill balance but alas without a search bar its not 100% of the way there.

Add Contract or Files to Blocks
It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

Move in-house Guests
At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.

It would be helpful if the search bar could also detect words or numbers that are written in the notes of a product.

Reservation Status after restoring the booking
After restoring a cancelled booking the status is automatically "Confirmed" and there is no possibility to change it.
It would be very useful to have the possibility to choose the status (Confirmed/Optional/Inquiry) to which the booking should be restored.
Specially for group tentative/optional bookings which have been cancelled after the option date and need to be restored because the guest is still interested, but the booking is not confirmed yet.

Make product option 'offer to employee' visible in overview
In the overview of all the products we have in the additional and bookable services, I really miss a column that shows which products are visible for employees. Or a possibility to filter those products only.

Send link for credit card (no payment)
Have the option to send a link to the payment portal without amount, so the guest can enter their credit card securely. This is especially important for reservations via phone or email.

Availability blocks through different bookable services
We work with two bookable services; stay and shortstay, using the same rooms. We want to ensure availability until a certain time for our shortstay partners therefore, we are using availability blocks with the moving release option. Unfortunately, the availability blocks are only blocking rooms in one bookable service. Making it possible to book the blocked rooms in the stay bookable service. It would be great if the system blocks these rooms in both services when adding an availability block in one of the services.

The Availability Block departure date should automatically adjust to the future arrival date
When you enter the block arrival date, why wouldn't the departure date automatically jump to at least the same day as arrival day or the day after? It makes no sense that we have to manually make sure that the departure date is not before the arrival date?! It is time consuming.

Add space number as a placeholder option to booker confirmation
It would be nice to have the option to add the space number into booker confirmation. We drive revenue by allowing customers to pay extra to select their exact space number, and having the ability to show them this on their confirmation and not just pre-arrival would be helpful.

translation in all languages from the default language
It is extremely tedious to have to change the translation for each possible languages for each individual element in Mews. A simple task such as making an edit to a unit descriptions requires 150 different entries if we want to accomodate all languages.
There should be an AI tool that translates all Mews textfields in all possible languages from a default language to manage all other translations, such as Deepl for websites.
