Customer notes in Commander App
As housekeeping complete their daily tasks, they often add special items to prepare for arriving guests. For this reason, it's very important that housekeeping staff is up to date on any notes or special instructions that come along with each assignment. Adding customer notes within the Commander application could provide much needed insight, so your staff will always be informed of important facts and ready to welcome your guests properly.
We are very happy to announce that you are now able to view reservation notes in the Mews mobile app.
In order to view notes, select a reservation in the Mews web application > and add a note from the properties tab. Once the note has been saved, you will be able to view the note in the space details section of the Mews mobile app.

Dear Aldair, are you going to develop that these notes can be added to room status notes without changing the status? Will this note be available in the Commander app rooms overview directly behind the status so you do not have to click into the room?

Reservation > Properties > General Notes
A tab "Housekeeping Notes" should be added that will be shown on the Commander App to the housekeeping staff. Important for special requests like extra pillow, baby craddle, dog etc.
At the moment this has to be accomplished by creating a housekeeping task, where also the room number and the start date have to be set, since the linking between Task and Reservation is not shown in Commander App
It is really important for us to separate notes HK with the others ; HK employee should not know all the notes of a reservation.
In the spaces report, we should only filtered with HK notes or HK products...
In order to get to HK employee a clear report !

Further info on the request: the majority of guests are returning guests where the preferences apply to each reservation, such as the request for an anti-allergic pillow, a room in the upper floors etc.
For our housekeeping it would make it much easier to have all the reservation and profile notes on an overview. F.ex. when they put anti-allergic pillows in the rooms, the would count the amount they need each day and put it in these rooms. Right now they would have to check each room on the app and then write down the amount of pillows they need…so we can't work totally paperless and still be efficient.

The housekeeping staff would prefer to only work with the housekeeping app as not all of them have the skills to work on the computer.
The notes of each reservation are visible when clicking on each room, but the products ordered by the guest such as (champagne, pet…) and the general customer notes are not (f.e. allergic pillow, fan when hot outside…).
We would therefore request that the guest profile notes are being shown as notes in each reservation too.
Houskeeping has to know this information as it is too complicated to insert it to the reservation notes.
