    You should be able to send out your own invoices. It's important for us to transport our image and the our experience in all aspects of our communication. The invoices provided by muse are visually very unattractive. I understand that Mews has tried to find a presentation of the invoice that fits all standards but yet again i don't understand why you can't make it possible to send out your own invoices that pull data from Mews next to the standard invoice created by Mews. Mews generally sets a lot of unnecessary rules and restrictions that avoid the user to ever make Mews cusomizable which is what a Hotel or Hostel needs because they all work a bit differently. Why make the decisions for the user? I really doubt Mews could ever get in trouble for letting you work on the invoices. As the issuer of an invoice we are responsible for any legal problems, not Mews.

    Hi there Mewsers!

    You’ve asked and we’ve listened.

    We upgraded the action log to make it more detailed and easier to use.

    Below are some of the additional details that we’ve added.

    Before, when a reservation moved to a different room, you couldn’t see which room it was in originally—now you’ll always see exactly how the reservation looked before and after each change.

    We’ve enhanced updates for products. You’ll now be able trace for example, the additions of order items as well as the price adjustments made to your products.

    And finally on the pricing side, no need for a calculator! You can now monitor and report on changes to prices with the both net and gross values, as well as the affects the changes you’ve made have on taxes.

    We will continue working on updates to the action log for different sections of the system. Stay tuned for more!

    Good News! It is my pleasure to announce we have started a Beta of an improvement to our search bar that will allow users, among many things, to easily find the unassigned reservations that are causing the infamous red line on the timeline!


    If this is a common need, you can even save this search as a favorite (with the star icon on the search bar) and avoid having to type it!

    If you have a group reservation with multiple rooms you are not able to see the final price as long as the reservation is optional. You have to go throuugh all the rooms and calcualte it yourself. This makes no sense, since it is irrelevant if it's confirmed or not, you still need to know what total price to communicate the cutomer. You should also be able to make an already confirmed booking optional again.
