Sync restrictions in real time, not at the time of check in
Currently, if you set up a restriction in Mews, it will updated and pushed to your channel manager at the time of your check in, unless you proceed to a manual update. Why ?! If I want to limit sales or close them on a particular date on a specific chanel, I want it effective immediatly... Thanks.

Connection to Zenchef
In France, Restaurants use mostly Zenchef and Guestonline for restaurant booking. Resdiary as the only option can be a blocker

Webhook or websocket notification for customer's address change and customer's identity document change
Currently there is no notification about changes to identity documents or changes to addresses of the customers. If you want to make sure that you have up-to-date information about customer's address and identity documents you have to query all customer's addresses and identity documents periodically.
Please create a webhook (or websocket) notification for these changes. As an alternative solution, you could trigger the 'CustomerUpdated' webhook when the address and/or identity document of the customer is updated.

GetAllReservations ChannelNumber
The GetAllReservations (ver 2023-06) Request does not support the ChannelNumber anymore (like it did in the deprecated version). For our Kiosk solution this is an essential, as guests from OTA's usually only know their Channel Confirmation Number.
Could you please extend the GetAllReservations Request with ChannelNumber befor discontinuing the deprecated version?Thanks

Nationalities from 3rd party
Could it be possible to remove automatic nationalities from 3rd party bookings? We are getting example Expedia reservations all the time where US nationality is automatic but the guests are usually from Europe. This is an issue for Finland as we have to report to the government our statistics of guests. Of course we try to remember change it but many times we forget.

Age categories in MEWS
Issue: MEWS supports up to 5 age categories, but only 2 can sync with Siteminder. When using 3+ categories, reservations with children/teens require manual review in MEWS, as it only processes 2 categories correctly. Siteminder sends the data correctly, but MEWS does not fully support it.
Request: Enable MEWS to support more than 2 age categories when integrating with Channel Managers.

Resdiary - Default venue connected to Hotel
When reserving tables in the guest profile in Mews, the restaurant associated with the hotel the user is currently logged into should be automatically displayed.
Alternatively, the selection field should be left empty or include a prompt such as "Please select."

We would like to propose more specialised Webhooks.
Not every change to the reservation, for example, is needed for every use case. Instead, only changes to specific fields are interesting for (for example the status).

Availability Block: API endpoint to pull Blocks with no picked-up reservations
This would be nice for Connector API too.
Create an API Endpoint that properties can use to call on their optional blocks, AND those which do not yet have picked-up reservations, so they can create forecast reporting on expected income, associated revenues, rates details, and occupancy.

It is very difficult to read through all the ideas in this Forum or to search for one. So my idea is to send all Mews users an email if someone publishes an idea on here. Maybe you can turn this on or off in your preferences?
