Date of birth in reservation report
Dear Software Team,
Greetings from Amsterdam. We have a feature request that I believe would improve the user experience and add more value to the businesses. I would like to suggest adding a column for the guests’ date of birth into the reservation report.
The addition of the date of birth column would provide several benefits. Firstly, it would allow businesses to better understand their customer demographics. Grouping Additional Expenses
Can we please have "Additional Expenses" grouped together the same way Products group on the "Items" tab in the reservation screen. Currently these show line by line and for City Tax for longer stays this creates a massive list. It is then harder to handle as you have cancel them 1 by 1, which then forces the PMS to refresh after each cancellation!
We have different agreements with OTAs and sometimes the CT is already covered in a different way.
This would be beneficial for other Expenses introduced in tot he system later on.

Is it possible to set up different tax rules by room type or rate plan? I am not seeing that we can alter our tax settings, but we need this functionality. We have certain third party TA's that are collecting and remitting part of the occupancy tax, so we need the ability to designate which taxes should be applied to any given rate plan and/or room type.

Different Tax: local vs foreign tourists
Some countries require to collect different tax based on the nationality of their guests. Local (national) tourists pay less taxes than foreign tourists.
Example of such country is Peru. Since Mews is live in Peru, this feature would be great to have.

Navigator translations intereference with Google translations
The Navigator Website has several different languages available. However, every guest that does not speak English will get the google translate notification. If a guest enables this option, any language will get translated to the selected language. For example: German to German, which results in an unreadable text.
This is highly recommended especially for German houses. In some text it even says "you die".

When using Mews, we noticed a limitation in the way local taxes (Ortstaxe) are posted. If two guests stay for one day, the system currently posts the tax as a single combined amount. For example, instead of posting two separate charges of €5, it appears as one charge of €10.
While this works for simple invoices, it becomes problematic in more complex billing situations. For example, when creating separate invoices or adjusting charges for individual guests, the combined posting makes the process more complicated. In many cases, the tax must be cancelled…

Localised date format for the action log
US Date formats are being used in the action logs. Can these please be changed to either DD/MM/YYYY format, or YYYY/MM/DD format in line with the global standard? It's making it impossible for the vast majority of customers to read the logs correctly.

Implicit Consent for Tracking in Australia
Hi there,
We have noticed that the CMP launched across the Mews Booking Engine has resulted in no or partial data being attributed to our marketing channels.
As a result, we are unable to attribute any revenue to our marketing activity, which is severely impacting the ability to measure the performance of our paid advertising across our 20 properties.
All of our affected properties are based in Australia, where the privacy laws assume implied consent, so we are able to track any user who doesn't specifically opt out of tracking.

Added support for sending invoices in the Norwegian UBL Customization - EHF format. Most government entities are moving towards only accept invoices in EHF format, and it has becomes pretty complicated to get pdf invoices through the system.

Annually in Spain it is mandatory for all companies to present a fiscal model (347) .
This is about reporting all customers with transactions over 3k to the government
Currently the system that Mews offers is completely manual and should be automatic. It is heavy, tedious and time-consuming work.

Date format on reports - not depending on culture format
Recently the date format on reports has been changed for the Danish "Date and Price format" connected to our users in Mews.
So instead of dd-mm-yyyy it is dd.mm.yyyy
Would be great that the date format is not defined TOGETHER with a price format. But that you as user can select the date format that suits you regardless of what price format suits you.
(And of course would be great, if changes to the formatting was announced prior to changing. And that a list of the different definitions was available.
