Add "arrival country" field
It would be helpful to add a field with calendar format to register guest date arrival into the country. At least in southamerica we need to know how many days a pax is staying in the country since arrival for tax requirements in order to have correct payments amounts.
Otherwise, costumizable fields for guest profile with formats (calendar, open field, others).

Hungarian Language Support
We are requesting Hungarian translations for Guest-Facing instances as well as an option for users to set on the back end when configuring products and rates at the property.

Japanese language support
Mews Japanese B2C language (Guest-facing products) completeness stands at 99%. However, there are some nuance issues with translations.
Mews Japanese B2B language (Mews) completeness stands at 27%.
Further to this: Mews Help Articles, Learning pathways, and native language support are called for.

Add setting for products 'commissionable' or 'non commissionable'
In order to get more accurate commission overviews we would like an option when setting up a product to define whether it's commissionable or non commissionable (so if it should calculate for the commission overview).
Things like city tax, extra products (not via OTA) are non-commissionable but will still be counted for commission rate.
A tickbox Comm/Non Comm will solve this and provide more accurate commission overviews to support invoicing and business intelligence.5 votesHello from the Mews product team. ISTAT - Umbria
Properties in Italy need an ISTAT report. This process can be automated and already is automated in certain regions of Italy. It would make things easier for properties in Umbria if they could also automate this report.

Split tax for one product in mews
Due to corona, German VAT for food was reduced from 19% to 7%. (There were other tax reductions already last year due to corona from 19-16% and mews handled everything fine).
Now the problem is that the product "breakfast" includes both food and drinks and therefore has to have 2 splits of tax.
I.e. if the total price is 15€, 10€ need to be taxed with 7% and 5€ with 19%. But in the mews products, I can only put one VAT Tax per procuct.
So some German Mews hotels add an extra product after every booking of breakfast manually…5 votesHello all,

Rounding Precision
Mews rounds per item at the end down to 0.00 (inconsistent) dropping the 3rd decimal.
Channel Manager rounds at the end down to 0.000
US Taxes the Total Price.Leaves $0.01 at times from 3rd party booking engine to the PMS.
Example:
Rate = 299.00
Tax @ 13.45% = 40.2155 (IBE 3rd parties round up/down)
Total = $339.22However, Mews drops the 3rd decimal in the tax and returns $40.21. Therefore, the Total in Mews is $339.21 versus the IBE by 3rd parties (iHotelier and SynXis) which round up/down at the 3rd decimal.
This results in some cases a $0.01…

No city tax for children and free breakfast for children
Would be easier to just add breakfast and city tax in case it's necessary than having to counterbook it with every single reservation where children are involved.

Statistics report in Finland
In Finland hotels must provide a monthly report on guest that have stayed at a property. The report can be created manually, however there is a possibility that the report can be created automatically.

Address format for the Nordic region
In the Nordic region the address format is the same for all countries, and this differs from current format Mews is using. It would be nice if there were an option in Mews to select/configure the address formatting for bills and invoices.
For all the Nordic countries the format is the same:
Recipient
Street address (street name followed by the house number, no punctuation)
Postal code and City (postal code first, no separating punctuation)
