Allow Kiosk Check-in for Dirty Rooms
Enable guests to check in via the kiosk even if the assigned room is still marked as "Dirty" (e.g. early arrival). Add an optional feature to send an SMS to the guest once the room is cleaned and ready, informing them they can now go to the reception or receive their key.

It would be much better service to allow the guest to already fill out the registration card upon arrival even when the room is not inspected yet. The Mews kiosk "Staff Mode" should allow this without checking in the guest in the end when the room is not ready. Often, the guests get annoyed when they have already offered all their information upon arrival, which we have turned down, just to ask them to do it later (when they are maybe tired after a dinner etc.).
Please consider this change asap, which will enhance both the work of the receptionst but also the experience of the guest. Thank you!

Je me permets de vous contacter afin de vous soumettre une demande d’évolution concernant le check-in via les tablettes.
Actuellement, lorsque la chambre n’est pas encore inspectée dans Mews, la tablette bloque la saisie des informations clients et empêche ainsi toute action de pré-check-in. Cette limitation pose des difficultés opérationnelles, notamment lors des arrivées anticipées.
Nous souhaiterions que soit envisagée, dans la roadmap produit, la possibilité de :
permettre le pré-check-in sur tablette même si la chambre n’est pas encore inspectée dans Mews,
Pouvez-vous nous indiquer si une telle amélioration pourrait être envisagée ou ajoutée à la roadmap Mews ?

The system-based check-in via the kiosk is one of the most crucial aspects for our hotels to optimize arrivals and ensure guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, the restriction regarding "unchecked" rooms is currently a hindrance, as it prevents early check-ins from being processed.
There are two key reasons why it is extremely important for us to fully utilize the highly beneficial MEWS Kiosk:
A) The check-in process is handled properly and efficiently.
B) The guest's signature for the legally required registration form is obtained.We kindly request the urgent implementation of this matter.

This would be more than great to have. As a wellness hotel, we have to deal with many check-ins over the weekend. Having the kiosk is very helpful to let multiple guests an option to check-in and proceed their payment already. However our housekeeping does not manage to clean all rooms in such a short amount of time (some guests already want to check-in, while the prior guest is still in the room..). Having this feature our operations could be changes significantly to the better!! Please consider it asap :))

While guest are awaiting for their room to be ready, we would like to allow them to start their check in on the Mews Kiosk App, even if the room is not inspected. Once the check in process will be done, guests can enjoy the hotel facilities and receive a notification when they can collect their keys once the room will be inspected.
