Customizable Kiosk Check-in Requirements
It would be great to be able to customize the requirements for a Kiosk Check. This would allow us to collect information that is not part of any legal environment based on our location.
Right now we ask guests to utilize the kiosk but when it cannot collect all the information we need for a check in it sits unused.

Please remove or set the "Email" question as a custom field in check-in form (Kiosk & Online check-in). A lot of our customer do not have or do not want to give us their email so we can not complete Self check-in Kiosk.
Also the "Travel VISA" information in Thailand, there are no proper VISA "Number" information both register and free visa case so we got a lot complain about "Online check-in". Can you also make "Travel VISA" fields as a custom visibility in "Check-in form" too?

All our check ins go through the kiosk, and in Germany now the law states that we don't need as much info from the companions as from the main booker (we only need a name, passport/ID number and nationality, compared to name, ID, address, nationality from the main booker). If we check in an 8-bed dorm, the check in now takes 8 times longer as before... If this could be customized better it would be extremely helpful.

Considering recent law changes in Europe with additional information required from companions, check-ins take way longer than usual.

I would add to include any proposed changes not only in the Kiosk flow, but also the Online Checkin flow - my ask would be to allow the ID Documentation capture for all guests. This will help security around unmanned properties where the 'stayer' is from the same territory and the simple capture point of the information will deter some. The next level is to then do a realtime validation of such documentation with a Selfie (akin to AirBnB) which i am sure is on the roadmap :-)

it is required to have more flexibility in which data is collected. This should not be a MEWS decision, although I appreciate the legal requirements, every hotelier has different needs for data to be collected during the online check-in / kiosk check-in.

I totally agree with Matt his idea from last year. We would like to make the e-mail and telephone number as a required field while checking in on the kiosk. Would be great if we can customize our own requirements for the Mews Kiosk

Nous utilisons MEWS KIOSK pour nos checkin. Nous souhaitons que l'email soit un champ obligatoire afin que cette information ne soit pas loupée et que le client nécessite de fournir son email pour faire son checkin.

When I get the booking email, I want to see a field with the guests phone
We need to require a guest's phone number (and ID) to be automatically collected and sent over.We just onboarded two properties to MEWS from our old PMS, we are going to miss this critical feature.

As our guests can do the whole check in process online, there is very important data missing in the guest profile.
We really need to have the address, or postal code as a required field in the booking engine, or the online check in. If we do not have this, our marketing does not know where our guests are comming from...
Please set the online check in details according to the "Registration Form setup"

It would be helpful to be able to add text to eg. the email field, like "please leave your Email adress to use the online checkout and invoicing features"

We communicate with our guests via WhatsApp during the whole stay so for us telephone number is crucial. If the telephone number cannot be added as obligatory, it would be great at least to have it as optional (just as an email) or to have some note field where our team may write it down while doing check in with the guest.

The Operator now is not able to collect email addresses properly. When the reservation is from Booking.com for example and the guest enters a new email in time of check-in in Operator, the email is not updated.
