  1. please add Inquired reservations in both places, Reservation Overview and the Availability & Occupancy report

    Is it possible to get a better view of the Availability & Occupancy report to also include INQUIRED reservations?

    Per today we can see the number of Optional reservations and Inquired blocks, but not Inquired reservations - which would to get a clearer overview of wait listed reservations.

    Per today, the only way to find the INQUIRED reservations is a very complicated and time consuming way, you have to go through the Reservations report and choose Inquired.

  2. I don't know why the rate management screen has been changed but it's dreadful. I used to be able to click on individual days and quickly change the price but now can't. Can it be changed back please? Or give a quick edit option?

  3. I am reaching out to request a feature update that would allow rates to be suppressed on reservations. This functionality is very important to our daily operations, as many of our corporate accounts prefer to book reservations for their associates without disclosing the rate to them.

    This capability was available to our corporate clients in our previous PMS, and the inability to suppress rates now creates challenges and can negatively impact our business relationships with these clients.

  4. It would be very helpful if the Mews Terminal could also be used to scan ID cards and collect guest signatures. This functionality is already common in many other markets and would allow small hotels, who cannot afford a full Mews Kiosk setup, to still benefit from a more automated and integrated check-in process.

    Ideally, there would be a new button (similar to the current webcam scan option) in the guest profile. When clicked, it would initiate a flow on the Mews Terminal:

    The receptionist takes a photo of the front and back of the ID using the terminal’s camera.

  5. Would be wonderful if you could click on a date in the next month rather than them being blanked out and you having to go up to an arrow in the month calender and clicking a small arrow to move to the next month. Time and wrist saving!

  6. We often have groups staying on the basis of bed & breakfast for the first night and a package deal from the second night onwards.

    We would like to be able to indicate in one reservation cq room, per night, which rate or rate group should be used. So not the PRICE, but actually select a specific rate type.

    Now we have to make two separate reservations, which is very confusing for our Housekeeping and Front Office.

  7. When using digital solutions and integrations, accurate timing is crucial.

    In Mews, the selected arrival time does not always match the exact check-in time when using automated check-in. Sometimes, there can be an additional delay of up to 10 minutes before the reservation is fully checked in, causing issues—for instance, when promising guests "check-in at 3 PM" and having an automated flow dependent on the exact check-in time.

    By implementing an option like "Start check-in X minutes before arrival time," each property could individually accommodate this delay, significantly improving the guest experience.

  8. Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected. It would therefore be more convenient for everyone to develop a feature that handles the following scenario: if only one bed or one room is available and several customers attempt to book simultaneously,…

  9. It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

  11. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.

  12. It would be extremely helpful to be able to write comments on reservation directly from the reservation overview report instead of having to click details->administer->properties and THEN be able to write a comment. After all of that, you cannot even just click back, because then you will come to the home screen and not the reservation overview report again. It would save us alot of time, especially us who write comments on almost every single reservation when we go through them for the day to check for extra needs, memberships etc :)

  14. Currently if a guest has a reservation with more than one bookable service, let's say a room and a parking spot, they cannot get a Digital Key for the room.

    The guest should always be offered a Digital Key when enabled on the property and the space, regardless of what other bookable service they have on the same reservation group.

  15. The option of setting automatic alerts to pop-up during different stages of reservations, such as during check-in, any time you open the reservation, during check-out. The alert text should be customizable, so a user can enter anything there, but also the possibility of adding standard alerts depending on membership level, profile classifications, specific rates, etc.

  16. The guest can check in at kiosk even if the balance is 1.000 DKK - due routing rule. Company has a) guest who always get sent a bill to company and b) guest who needs to pay themselves at the hotel. The host gets the room amount back to guest profile from company, but the kiosk do not ask the guest to pay. So the guest check in and out without paying.
    Here: The kiosk should see the balance for asking payment.

  17. It would be prefered ou guest are be able to book multiple nights via online booking even though there are restrictions. We have high and low season and it is important that guests can book across them. For example, a Thursday - Saturday in October will be two different prices

  18. Displaying the rate (Best rate of the day) on the calendar would save time on two levels:
    1- When making a reservation, it would be possible to inform the customer at a glance about the availability of a room and to communicate the rate of the room.

    2- displaying the rates on the calendar would help to check the correct configuration of the rates and to make changes/adjustments if necessary.

  19. Wir haben verschiedene Raten auch mit Reiseveranstaltern vereinbart, bestimmte Produkte sollen nur dieser Rate zugeordnet werden. Dies ist im Moment anscheinend nicht möglich.

  20. I want the availability report to show not just the base room rate, but also the total price including products when a specific package is selected. Otherwise, it always displays the base rate from which the package price is derived, making the option to view all rates pointless.
