Segmentation / Demographic Reporting
We are desperately in need of a report that can show us our daily production by market segment. We should be able to extract a report to excel and manipulate the data to have a clear idea of what we are picking up for what dates and via what segment. This is a crucial part of any hotel who is looking to increase their revenues and mews is one of the few PMS systems i have ever worked with that does not have this basic report. All of the data is logged there and so why is there nothing we can extract? These details can be found on the reservation report but with so much information on here, it becomes impossible to work with such a big file in excel when we only need -5% of the data.
Hello all,
This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. Our product team reviews everything you share, and we might reach out for more info if we need it.
Thanks for your patience as we work to bring your ideas to life! You can learn more about the changes coming to UserVoice from this post in the Mews Community.

This is available if you use the Reservation Report, Mode Totals, Filter by Arrival Date, Arrival Time (ex. 4:00 pm) and Departure Time (ex. 11 am, but often I use 6:00 am to avoid early arrivals to be counted in the interval), use the Filter Overlapping to capture Arrivals and Stayovers, then Group by Segment. Keep all Statuses. Remove Options except "Include Space Charges." Net Value. Select Okay. You will now see all the Market Segmentation room nights, ADR and Net Room Revenue.

Properties should be able to use/create larger segmentation possibilities.
For example: Market Groups & Codes - Source Groups & Codes - Regions
Currently there is only one level of segmentation while some properties tend to use 2 to more.
