Mobile push notifications for new tasks
When a task is assigned to a user or department, no notification is received on the mobile app.
The user must visit the Task section in the mobile app to see if any tasks have been assigned to them.
Push notification to the user to alert them of the new task would help the user be aware of the new task.
A little Red bubble showing new tasks over the task menu would also help.
Example: Customer checks out of their room & advises the front desk that a light bulb is not working & that their is a bad smell in the room.
Front Desk creates 2 tasks,
1. Maintenance to inspect & fix the light
2. Housekeeping to inspect, look for source of smell & to deodorise room.
Both Maintenance & Housekeeping users should receive a notification of the newly assigned task & see how many new tasks / unread tasks are available in the way of a bubble on the task menu.
