Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  1. It would be very helpful if the age categories for children in the guest statistics could be adapted to the hotel-specific definition.
    For example: 0-5 years and 6-12 years instead of 0-9 years, etc.

  3. It is not possible to schedule reports into a PDF in de scheduled exports.
    When you can have it in PDF it's easier to review the reports for us.

  4. Would be great to have a filter on the accounting ledger report where you can filter each line instead of exporting first and then have to copy past all the guest details to look up bills.

  5. We would like to work with Onyx to process commission claims but there is no commission report in Mews that can be submitted to Onyx.

    It would be nice to have a commission report that can be used to check commission and that can be submitted to Onyx.

  6. In Mews the statistics are calculated using room / beds occupied and not by customer count.

    We'd like to be able to calculate all statistics in Mews reports & Analytics by customer. This could be achieved by adding a setting to use customer count.

    Average rate instead of calculated occupied rooms/revenue use customers/revenue
    Occupancy instead of calculating by occupied rooms/available rooms use customers occupying rooms/available rooms

  7. Get a correct number of spaces when creating a parent room consisting of to existing rooms. MEWS now counts 2 connecting rooms, as 4!

  8. To have a company dashboard just like in a guest profile. In this you would be able to view all past, current and future bookings linked to the company profile.

  9. Add filter option by "Assigned Space" to the Financial Analytics dashboard (and why not also to Manager Analytics dashboard).

    For property managers, it is a crucial feature as filtering out financial data on a property level is key. And for property managers, an Assigned space = A property. And I can bet you will get more and more property managers as clients :)

    For hotels, this allows to track metrics on a room level.

    As the data is readily available in the database it shouldn't be difficult to implement, it's just a PowerBI set up.

  10. The dashboards are very blue and it is not so easy to read the data as everything blends into one. The MEWS University training videos show blue and orange for example which work really well together but the MEWS user dashboards are consigned to blue only. Please allow blue/orange for users too in the first instance and then work towards allowing fully tailorable colourways by clients. Thanks.

  12. Currently the REVPAR is incorrectly calculated all over Mews.
    Rooms which are out of order are left out of the equation.
    However, REVPAR calculates your revenue based on all rooms (Occupied, Empty or OOO). The current data in both the Manager Report and Manager Analystics in Mews are incorrect.

  13. I would like to see the ability to easily generate a report which would break down the guests' origin by country of residence. Also, integration with the French government's INSEE (Fréquentation dans les hébergements collectifs touristiques) would be great !

  14. The costumer stat. report does not take all arriving or inhouse profiles, but all profiles regardless of status. This means that it includes a lot of profiles that are "unknown" "N.N", or "pax two" which is a lot of work to clean up. It would be better for the report to only count guests who were actually staying at the hotel.

  15. When booking a reservation for a guest who will have several room moves during their stay, I would like the ability to link these reservations so it does not appear as if the guest is leaving and arriving when they are only changing rooms.

    • If two reservations within a guests dashboard are linked and the consecutive reservation is within a 24 hour period then
    • Don't count guest as departing
    • Don't count guest as arriving
    • Count guest as stay over

    This is important for departments like the front desk, but also effect the guest in terms of confirmation emails. Otherwise the…

  18. Add some more options on the cancellations report to be able to forecast the expected number of cancellations for a period of time, an event, or similar. Ideas...

    1) report based on consumption date instead of cancellation date : the intention is to analyze how far in advanced from arrival date are we getting cancellations so we can forecast the number of rooms we can overbook.
    2) filter by day of week to find trends based on which days of the week do we receive more cancellations, or which days of the week are most impacted by cancellations (day of…
