Claim Loss on a bill
It can happen that guests did not pay their bill for some reason and we must CLAIM this bill as a LOSS, rather than balancing it out and closing it.
Could we have an option that will allow us to do this? Later, we can find it in reporting and use to settle our own accounts and understand how often does this happen.

Down Payments
We work with down payments and have 2 VAT rates in Germany 7% and 19%. However, there is only the option of specifying one down payment in the accounting configuration under further expenses / down payment. We would need a second field with down payments in order to work correctly for accounting purposes.

Different Accounting Categories for deposits with different VAT
Deposits with different VATs should flow into different accounting categories. Thus, if the deposit is posted with 19% it should go into accounting category "deposit 19%" and if the deposit is posted with 7% VAT it should go into accounting category "deposit 7%"

Adding CC Surcharge automatically.
Suppose a guest uses "Tap Pay, " "pay wave" or CC on MEWS Terminal. It should add a surcharge automatically.

Let us turn on automatic deposit settlement even when automatic payment settlement is not turned on
I'm not sure whether it is a bug or the intended behaviour of Mews, however currently automatic deposit settlement doesn't work if automatic payment settlement is not turned on.
This two things should be separated, we need automatic deposit settlement even when automatic payment settlement is not in use.1 vote -
Accounting report - blank spaces
There are blank space in accounting report in "Bill" and "Owner" columns, when the revenue/charge/deposit is on “unpaind items/deposit” bill. It makes it very difficult to find where item/charge is in the system

See the details of the charges on the bill on Mews
In every bill we’re not able to see which exact products have been charged. For example, for “Ski shop” items, we can’t know if they had skis and boots, or just a helmet, or if they added insurance. In order to see that, we have to use Bizzon in our tablets to see the detail. It would be very nice if we could see the detailed ticket or charge in Mews instead of having to search on Bizzon, as it makes us lose a lot of time.

reopen bills
Would it be possible to reopen a bill when the guests hasn’t arrived yet ? Can this be a future feature to ease the process of billing before arrival dates ?

Block the entry of a free adjustment when adding a product to an invoice
We want to have an option to block the entry of a free adjustment when adding a product to an invoice.
This is to ensure that users only use predefined products to invoice/reimburse, so that accounting information is coherent.
Indeed, by nature a free adjustment is not linked to a product and therefore not linked to a specific accounting category.
What is the problematic use case?
When we invoice/reimburse a product, our teams need to invoice an existing product so that the correct accounting category passes through our accounting interface (api).

Smart Window Balance always visible
As of now, sometimes the balance is visible on the Smart Window and sometimes it is not. Usually the reservations that come from an OTA do not have the balance visible on the Smart Window, created the additional unnecessary steps of clicking to arrive at the Billing tab. Please do what needs to be done for ALL reservations, including OTAs, to have the balance visible on the Smart Window. Thank you!

Disable the display of additional guests in the statistics
Exclude additional guests from being included in the statistics. Only consider the head guest for calculating the percentage of successful guest statistics. In cases where there are multiple people (e.g., 4 guests) in a room and they update their names, it's unlikely that we will have all the details for each individual. Therefore, the main or head guest is the crucial one to be recorded, currently, you are making it challenging for us to track the completion status for all head guests.

Accountling ledger, bonus withdrawl
I like that bonus points are added to the accounting ledger. But I would very much like it to be updated so that these come chronologically by date. There will be a lot of scrolling to find the way when something is written there, you have not paid off because it is no longer shown on the guest's bill directly.

It would be helpful if MEWS receipt could be updated after the guest have checked in.
We have got request from our customers that we would be possible to update the company information after the guest have checked in. They perceive that the system is inflexible in that way.

[BUG] Cancellation fee rebate
The rebate on the cancellation fee option in stay settings is not assigned to the cancellation fee category, but to the stay category if "Additional expense rebate" is not set.

Being able to issue an invoice - without closing the bill in Mews
I know this was brought up before
Many Companies will not pay a proforma or a bill preview - we need to issue an invoice but without closing the bill.
Why? Sometimes groups are still in house - sometimes we are asking for prepayment

More than one default email
Hi,
Can I in some way send an invoice to two receiver without write tha address manually.
As default there is just the companys address. But I would like to add an address to our finance department as default as well so I do not have to write it manually every time I will send an invoice.

Gross to net
A report that gives you the Gross --everything in between-- and then your net total. When looking at everything in between would like to see the commission and taxes in two different columns. We export all of our records to quickbooks and this would be it easier when it comes to paying sales tax
