  1. like when you are scrolling up / down you condense the number of spaces displayed on the timeline, you should also be able to do that with the number of days displayed. It would be great if you would be able to see at least one full month on the timeline (ideally would be at least two months!)

  2. When we charge the breakfast, the price is the same for the adults of for the children we can't make a difference. It'd b great if we can fix this: the products are adjusted with the number of adults/children in the room

  3. Idea:

    • Having Dummy spaces is immensely helpful for hotels, so we can place those guests over there. These are those guests who are not going to arrive or who have booked with an invalid cc. By placing the reservation in dummy, we keep them on a waiting list, while at the same time keeping the reservation active on the OTA channel!

    • It allows us to give preference to guests who pay and weed out fake/ fraud bookers

    • Dummy allows us to directly release the room online and keep the timeline sorted, without having to change the occupancy/ availability manually every…

  4. It would be very nice to see the room number of the guest in the tasks list in the Mews Commander and the mews commander app.
    If the housekeeping is using only the app, they can't see the reservation and therefore the room number.

    Hello from the Mews product team,

    We are very happy to announce that we have added reservation details in the task section of the Mews mobile app!

    You will now be able to view reservation details, as well as the room number of a reservation if there are tasks attached.

    Selecting the room number will take you directly to the space where the reservation is currently assigned.

  5. It would be very useful to have an occupancy report/overview of all the groups per stay day / per status. Then a second layer on picked up vs non picked up rooms per group. To determine wash and create accurate forecasting.

  6. Would be nice if the room number shows up behind the name while using the search bar. If you look up a name now, you have to click on the name before you see the room number.

  7. It would be useful if a check / select box can be added next to an individual date range in a reservation rather than selecting/deselecting the whole reservation block with all the dates booked.
    If one of the dates ranges room type need to changed for example I do not have to select it all one by one, time consuming if it is a group booking of 40 rooms per day

  9. Instead of displaying the creation date, it would make more sense for our guests to see the consumption date so that when they check their bill they can quickly identify when certain items were used.

    In order to view the last user to update a task, select the task and view the “Updated” section at the bottom.

    Hello Mewsers,

    We are very happy to inform you that we now show the room number, and reservation details for all tasks linked to reservations in the Mews mobile app.

    You can test this functionality by linking a task to a reservation in Mews web > open the mobile app > in the tasks tab you will see the link icon > select the link icon to view reservation details including the room number.

    It is also possible to select the room number to be directed to the linked room in the Mews mobile app.

  12. Be able to see a detailed action log of Availability adjustments. This way you can keep track of the adjustments made to availability

  13. Hello, I'd like to share an idea regarding the Housekeeping.The hotel bought mobile phones for every chambermaid and the manager in order to work with the Mews app and the features it offers. However, we have noticed, that if our chambermaids do the cleaning (they change the status from DIR-->CLN) and the manager inspects it and is satisfied ( change from CLN -->INS ) marks it as inspected and it stays like that until further change.

    The issue emerges when we're talking about a room, where does the guests stay, 'cause the app says "inspected" even the other day, when…

    We are very happy to inform you that we have released a setting called "Check-in makes space dirty". With this option selected an inspected room will be marked as dirty as soon as a guest checks in. If a guest is staying overnight the space will automatically be marked as dirty at midnight.

  14. Even if there is only a stayover in one bed of a dorm, the whole room should be marked as dirty the next morning, so that HK know they have to check it. So you don't risk to book guests into a dirty room

    We are very happy to inform you that you will be able to view a dorm as dirty if there is one stay over within the room.

    You will be able to view this, in both the space status report as well as the housekeeping application.

  15. Include on the Mailing list a message to send to customers that had the credit card transaction declined. The mail is to inform them that the credit card transaction for the payment of the booking has been declined and asking them to update the credit card information within 24 hours to avoid the cancelation of the booking. Include on the mail a link where the customer can access their profile and update the payment information.

    Hello,

    I’m happy to announce that it is now possible to create multiple bookable services in Mews and start offering offices, meeting rooms, desks or parking spots to your guests.

    There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.

  17. Consumption date of once products is not shown on the Guest in house report. This report is used by the F&B team to determine whether a specific guest has purchased breakfast or not on a particular day. Product report does not show room numbers and therefore cannot be used when guests come to the restaurant.

    Please add the consumption date of "Once" products so it can be easily visible on a single report without needing to add notes.

  18. I recommend adding a field to the customer profile or reservation about disabilities. For example, someone in a wheelchair that cannot use the top bunk. Personally, I would like to let the hotel know that I am deaf.

    When you’re creating the Optional reservation, you have an option to select whether to send e-mail or not. Please see the attachment.

  20. Right now, marking a room requires the use of a drop down menu. This menu is small, and not colour coded.

    Instead, putting 4 buttons with colour and icons will help housekeepers use this app.

    We have housekeepers with limited ability to read, and some who are not adept to technology. This would help both tremendously.

    Thank you for the feedback, we are happy to inform you that the Commander mobile app allows you to update the status of the room by swiping left on the space who’s state you would like to change.

    Swiping left will also revel each state that can be identified by different coloured buttons.
