    Hello Mewsers!

    Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions.

    We are happy to inform you that tentative, or as we’ve called them “Inquired” reservations are available in Mews Commander.

    You can create reservations with the Inquired state from the third step of the new reservations screen by selecting the “Status” dropdown and clicking “Inquiry”.

    Inquired reservations do not take spaces out of inventory, you can, however update the status of the reservations to either optional, confirmed or cancelled. Updating the status of a reservation to confirmed or optional will assign a room for your chosen reservation.

    In addition to the above inquired reservations can also be created with a release date.

  4. As promised here is the video with the 2 issues that our reception team will be delighted with if they are improved :)

    The first one: when creating invoices, see timecode 1:17, Pam needs to highlight and copy the booking reference number from that booking on the dashboard tab for that booking, she then needs to go to the billing tab and manually paste the number so then the invoice can be generated for the customer. Now imagine having to do this for every single booking every day. On friday she will need to do this over 120 times, this…

    Hello Mewsers,

    Thank you for the feedback and suggestions, we are very happy to inform you that the space status report allows you to filter by alternate reservation states.

    You can choose whether you would like to view reservations that have been confirmed (definite reservations) , reservations that are currently optional or both! Simply select the “status” filter in the reservations report and apply the changes that you would like to view.

  7. Sometimes, staff is not made aware when a booking may be modified, which is frustrating as they may be forced to check their email more often than they would like. To help keep everyone informed, the system could automatically create tasks when a booking is modified to be processed by staff as they are received.

  9. Settlement task: Currently, the system does not make the difference between CC invalid and CC missing. So it creates a task in both cases. But we do not always need a CC. Especially for group bookings. So we have 40 tasks a day that must be canceled. It's heavy.

    Solution: let the property decide if they want/need a settlement task for either CC invalid + CC missing or for one of these solutions.
