  1. Additional/customizable origin options.

    When a reservation is created we have limited options to choose as the origin of the booking. We would like to have the option to customize these options ourselves to have a better overview of where the bookings come from.

  2. When we want to delete a rate, it is not possible if there are restrictions affecting to "All rates". It is not operational to delete all restrictions affecting to "All rates" in order to eliminate an specific rate. Instead of not letting you delete that rate, it should be asked with a "warning" something like "would you like to delete this rate eventhough there is a restriction on it?

  3. In canada every payment provider offer the possibility to refund on Interac (debit Card). It's an option that is greatly important for hotels as Interac is commonly use to give deposit and not all hotel impose their customer to have a credit card to book.

  5. For F&B to be able top post the correct breakfast product for certain guest having a discounted rate (i.e. corporate guests, airline crews..)

  6. Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

  8. Copy a reservation to a future date

    Often returning clients make sometimes the same booking for different dates. It would be great to have an option to copy a reservation to another date to make the reservation process quicker.

  9. Products have the ability to send a message to an individual or department when created. It would be great to have the ability to automatically create a task as well. This would need to have their own notification fields of who to create the task for.

  10. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  11. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  16. When a guest e-mail address bounces, it would be helpful if and when a task is created in order to have a notification (and thus an actionable moment) for staff to verify and check the e-mail proactively, and not have the guest wait for an e-mail because of a typo...

  17. When you need to extend a booking, you manually need to move future booking(s) before extending. If the future bookings aren't locked they should just be replaced in the timeline the same way as if you move between spaces.

    The problem happens when hotels are quite fully booked and you need to remove space for reservations and the puzzle it all together again after extending the one reservation in question.

  18. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  19. It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked
