  1. Meeting request send with confirmation for the Agenda.

    Propose automaticly a Meeting request for the Agenda of the client with the booking dates and check-in and out dates. Automaticly updated if timming is changed in the agenda with MEWS.

    To avoid any misunderstunding with booking dates and that the client have the informations automaticly in his Agenda

  2. When prices are updated (changed in PMS and synchronised to Mews Events) the old price remains in F&B packages and daily delegate packages forcing us to change them all manually. It would be great if they could be synchronised as well.

  4. It would be great to be able to filter the customertype or event coordinator in the Mews Events dashboard.
    In our hotel, the business guests and private guests are handled by different event planners.
    They would like to filter their own quotes.

  5. In the Netherlands, it is customary for business quotations to be prepared excluding VAT. The VAT amount is shown at the bottom of the quotation. Because all prices are displayed including VAT, we appear more expensive compared to our competitor in the price of an overnight stay.

  6. An improvement in Mews events would be the ability to upload a signature as an image in the settings. At the moment, it’s only possible to draw one manually, which doesn’t always produce the best results. The option to upload or paste an image would be a great enhancement.

  10. The banking details on the quote etc are European. There is no way to put British bank details; sort code and account number. The quote is going out to our guests with no details on how to pay a deposit. We don't use BIC or IBAN no's here. There are also numbers like SIRET? Which is not something we use, so leaving it on the quote when it is blank makes the document look unprofessional and unfinished.
    How the VAT is handled is complicated, I am sure different countries have different requirements.

  11. It would be a good idea to have some templates for function sheets. For specific function types with repeated tasks.
    This way things will be less likely t be missed for example;
    Wedding schedule
    Wedding Schedule with ceremony
    Team building Schedule
    Anniversary Dinner
    etc

  12. The accept and reject buttons on the customers quote should be located below the comments section and above the terms and conditions. I've had far too many customers contacting us because they don't know how to accept. This is understandable as by the time they have scrolled down to the useful information they have no reason to scroll back up to the top of the page.

  14. Man macht zu viele Klicks, um an Informationen zu kommen.
    Bis unser Küchenchef im Function Sheet angekommen ist (über den Time table) muss man zu viele Klicks machen. Am besten kommt man über die generelle Wochenübersicht direkt in die Veranstaltungsdetails.

  17. MEWS Events cannot deal with different VAT rates within the same section.
    Our most common example are different VAT rates for food (10%) vs drinks (20%) which naturally need to be mixed in both coffee breaks as well as F&B packages.

    There has been a way to load them during onboarding but we are now seeing this seems like a very manual rudimentary fix as issues are arising when pushing revenue, wanting to resync things.

  20. Contracts and ProFormas are sent automatically to the clients. When you look at it you'll see that often there is a headline on one page and the content on the next. It looks very rudimentary and unprofessional. There is loads of room for improvement there but a few page breaks would already help massively.
