room rental fee not exportable to PMS - needs fixing
The room rental portion of a DDR is the main revenue component and it is not exportable to the PMS. We are having manual work-arounds in place

Fix extremely poor formatting of automated PDFs (contracts and ProFormas) by adding page breaks
Contracts and ProFormas are sent automatically to the clients. When you look at it you'll see that often there is a headline on one page and the content on the next. It looks very rudimentary and unprofessional. There is loads of room for improvement there but a few page breaks would already help massively.

Option to edit the name of a service in the quote
In the quote, the course is added to a service. For example, a slice of cake is either breakfast/lunch or dinner. While it's actually more in-between.
We would like to be able to either not have the course added to the service. Or be able to change the name of the service manually to remove the course.8 votes -
Localise quotes for British usage
The banking details on the quote etc are European. There is no way to put British bank details; sort code and account number. The quote is going out to our guests with no details on how to pay a deposit. We don't use BIC or IBAN no's here. There are also numbers like SIRET? Which is not something we use, so leaving it on the quote when it is blank makes the document look unprofessional and unfinished.
How the VAT is handled is complicated, I am sure different countries have different requirements.

Function sheet templates.
It would be a good idea to have some templates for function sheets. For specific function types with repeated tasks.
This way things will be less likely t be missed for example;
Wedding schedule
Wedding Schedule with ceremony
Team building Schedule
Anniversary Dinner

Accept and reject buttons
The accept and reject buttons on the customers quote should be located below the comments section and above the terms and conditions. I've had far too many customers contacting us because they don't know how to accept. This is understandable as by the time they have scrolled down to the useful information they have no reason to scroll back up to the top of the page.

Die Stornierungsbedingungen sollten individuell hinterlegt werden können. Die Vorlage zum eingeben der Stornierungsbedingungen ist nicht anwendbar. Bitte unbedingt individuell gestaltbar machen.

Meeting request send with confirmation for the Agenda.
Propose automaticly a Meeting request for the Agenda of the client with the booking dates and check-in and out dates. Automaticly updated if timming is changed in the agenda with MEWS.
To avoid any misunderstunding with booking dates and that the client have the informations automaticly in his Agenda

Es sollte möglich sein, eine Buchung direkt fest zu erstellen, anstatt den gesamten Anfrage- und Bestätigungsprozess durchlaufen zu müssen.

Bei manuellen Buchungen sollten nur noch die Veranstaltungsarten auszuwählen sein, die mit dem dazugehörigen Kundentypen und den dazugehörigen Eventplänen verknüpft sind.

Create an action log
It would be great if an action log would be created. That way we can see when and who the quotes are made, adjusted or send by. Similar to PMS.

Änderungen und Stornierungen proaktiv an das VEranstaltungsteam kommunizieren
Wenn es Veranstaltungsänderungen gibt (Personenanzahl, Änderung Essen) sollten die Entsprechenden Abteilungen (Personen) informiert werden. Proaktive Informationen erleichtern die Veranstaltungsausführung. Bitte unbedingt einführen!

Meeting room price per hour
Currently, in Mews Events it is possible to set the price for a meeting room per day and per half-day. We would like to see the option to set an hourly rate and differentiate between weekdays and weekends.

Packages
We would like to have more options with regards to creating packages.
For example a package including stay, breakfast and tourist tax.
Or a package with an activity, lunch and drinks. However these packages don't work at the moment. You have to select a stay, this doesn't sync with PMS and thus doesn't add value.1 vote -
Update prices in packages
When prices are updated (changed in PMS and synchronised to Mews Events) the old price remains in F&B packages and daily delegate packages forcing us to change them all manually. It would be great if they could be synchronised as well.
