Check in online ratio is very low due to this sort of confusion. We would like to support this idea and ask you to arrange it for a better relathionship with our guests

When an E-Mail is send directly from MEWS to a guest the sender address is "[email protected]".
We would like to have the option to set the sender E-Mail Address at the E-Mail Templates.
We are facing many guests thinking this is a fishing mail as the expect an hotel E-Mail address.
What the guests get:
Von: Hotel Heidegrund <[email protected]>What the guest usual gets from us:
An: Hotel Heidegrund Rezeption <[email protected]> -
Many guests think this is a spam email and are confused. Please change this asap

We at harry's home hotels also have the same problem. Many guests think it might be a scam mail, due to the noreply@mews preview.

Send emails from official hotel email address instead of showing the noreply@mews. preview.
Sometimes we have guests questioning how to contact us since it says no reply
or even not sure if they should use the link to pay because they don’t understand the email adress is trustworthy. This will help us improve our payment success rate as well! -

Some of our clients are complaining about, that the confirmations they receive to fill out there CC Details do not look trustworthy. They are not willing to fill it out on this way. Maybe there is a way to make them look more serious.

We receive many complaints from guests who assume that we are hacked and think that the mews generated emails are phishing. Therefore only a small percentage of guests actually performs the online check-in. In many cases the mews emails also end-up in spam folders. Please send all emails using a hotel domain!

When we are sending booking confirmation or other messages from the PMS, guests are receiving it with the address "[email protected]". Could we use the property email address to improve the guest experience.
Thanks.

We would like to have the property logo showed on the Magic Link link pages. So it will not be seen as spam due to that you only see "Mews" in the address bar.

This feature will allow our clients and guests comfort that they are going to a professional URL and not some spam of phishing site. Better looking from a marketing standpoint but also a feeling of security if we are able to use the hotel URL and not Mews.li.

The Hotel Revel votes on this due to Reputation management and compliance.

We think this should be a priority because we may be violating the data protection law and customers could denounce us for not complying with the GDPR
