  2. Aktuell steht auf dem Bildschirmschoner der Tablets die für den Kiosk genutzt werden "hier einchecken". Daher nutzen die Gäste das Tablet aber nicht für den Check-out. Wir können den Bildschirmschoner auch nicht deaktivieren. Es wäre gut, wenn man den entweder individuell gestalten könnte oder auch die Check-out Funktion sichtbar ist.

  3. Es gibt eine neue Funktion im Kiosk. Am Ende des Check-ins wird die Bestellungsübersicht angezeigt. Diese lässt sich aktuell nicht deaktivieren. Dies ist aber sehr wichtig, da es genug Buchungen gibt, wo der Gast die Preise nicht sehen darf. Zum Beispiel Reiseveranstalterpreise.
    Von eurem Support wurde vorgeschlagen folgendes anzufragen:

  4. I want to extend the digitalization of my hotel. As part of this, I'd like to be able to offer a comprehensive digital package to my guests. Offer guests the option to stay an extra night, subject to availability.
    Send an email offering a negotiated rate.
    Give guests the option to do this on a kiosk or through the booking engine.

  5. We need the option to block specific rate codes from being eligible for self check-in via the kiosk. Some rates require guests to check in at the reception in order to present valid identification and/or to pay using specific payment methods that are not supported by the kiosk

  6. Is there a way to clearly indicate to the guest that they "have another Reservation waiting!", especially after they confirmed "Last Name + First Name + Confirmation Number". Perhaps "You have already checked in Stay #200, do you want to check in Stay #201?"

    We need to remove some hesitation in the flow for the guest when attempting to check in multiple reservations under the same name.

  7. For an existing reservation, the kiosk will display at check-in the guest name, "your booking", check out" and then a section with the header "Included.
    Now for an Expedia Collect booking, underneath the header "Included", we find 2x City Tax. However, the city tax is not included in the Expedia price and the guest has to pay the city tax extra. This creates an ambiguous situation where the guest may think that the city tax is already included in the price.

  8. We selected the option "Last name only" for the question: "Chooses what guests need to find their reservation". Still when the guest enters an error in the name, a confirmation number is requested. This is confusing and not in line with what was asked. Rather than prompting for the confirmation number, the kiosk should re-display the previous screen, requesting to enter the last name. Now there is no easy way to get back to this screen.

  9. It would be useful to have the control over which order the languages are shown on the Kiosk.For example: in our properties, most customers are French, and French is way down the list. It would be great to have it as the second option in the language menu.

  10. Kiosk check-in for grouped reservations sends Check in summary email only to the reservation owner for all checked in rooms/guests in the group, even when additional guest create separate guest profiles while checking in on kiosk.
    It would be great to send Check in summary email to the each guest profile created on kiosk during online/kiosk check in.

  11. When a recurring guest arrives for check-in and finds his booking in the kiosk, he only has to authorize in the last step as his details are already known in our system. These details are not shown to the customer though. His Id or address might not be correct anymore so he is not sure which data he is authorising.

  12. Enable guests to check in via the kiosk even if the assigned room is still marked as "Dirty" (e.g. early arrival). Add an optional feature to send an SMS to the guest once the room is cleaned and ready, informing them they can now go to the reception or receive their key.

  13. Guest is not getting any type of confirmation email after onlineor kiosk check in about the products purchased after after booking. For example if guest purchased products during kiosk check in, thet should be listed in Check in confirmation email. Currently, guests have no track of products purchased in Guest experience

We're currently able to sell additional bookable services to guests if they elect to use the online check-in module (using the "Service promotions" feature), however we can't offer these same services to guests if they elect to use the Kiosk check-in module. This makes no sense. We would suggest adding a "During Kiosk check-in” check-box option in Service promotions > Promotion settings > Offer to customer* to supplement the current “In booking engine” and “During online check-in” options that are already offered.

  15. We are experiencing difficulties in implementing the upgrade function in the Mews Kiosk because the pricing becomes incorrect. For example, a guest books a Standard Room for 100 EUR when the room pricing is low. Upon arrival, the daily rate has increased to 160 EUR. The price difference to the next room category is 20 EUR. If the guest had gone to the reception, they would have been offered an upgrade for the difference of 20 EUR. However, in the Mews Kiosk, the guest is offered an upgrade for the difference between the confirmed price at the time of booking…

  16. Many guests need a little more than a minute + 30 seconds 'are you still there' - countdown' to understand the Kiosk check-in and provide all necessary data, maybe chat with staff during the process. An extended time would lead to less Kiosk check-ins having to be re-done unnecessarily.

  17. We offer the possibility of an early Check-in which begins at 12 PM. However, when the guests try to check in earlier the kiosk will allow the payment of the early check in and allow the check in.
    It would be nice if we could configure the kiosk to offer the posibility of an early check in only after 12 PM (which is the actual begin time of an early check in). At the moment this feature seems to be connected with guests being able to book an early check-in while checking in online. We find this option to be…

  18. It would be helpful to have the Classification icon (most important the returner Icon) displayed in the reservation overview for the Kiosk check in the employer View.

  19. If I upgrade guest free of charge in advance, the guests are able to see it in the kiosk. We would like to keep that as a suprise upon their arrival. Furthermore, it does not show them as a upgrade. If we gave them a free upgrade they are not able to see their original booking in the kiosk. (Original Room Catergory) which may confuse them.

  20. When property has a bill as package enabled for the a product, while the product is hidden on the invoice, it remains to be displayed on the Kiosk during check-in.

    Properties are required to hide some product to be displayed since it is expected to be hidden from the guest such as a commission adjustment product .
