  3. Language depending on nationality, with the option for a manual override.
    if the nationality is set for a spain, language should change to spanish. The kiosk is guest forward. default language can be set, but a more individual approach would be good

  4. When checking in guests "manually" it would be nice be be able to "force" a registration card to show up in the operator. Imagine walking to a check in desk, saying your name, and the receptionist makes your registration card appear on a tablet in front of you for you to fill in.
    It would connect the "kiosk" option from hostels, with the personal service of hotels.

  5. To fasten the process of scanning data from guests documents, it would be great to have a professional device connected to the tablet, so the scanning is fast and reliable.

  6. Add cash option or temporary skip option to check-in with the kiosk.
    We are trying to work Paperless, and the kiosk gives us this option. However, when someone pays cash we have to stop the entire check in process because we cannot proceed without card payment for the check-in.

  7. Kiosk Check-In.

    If something happens during the guest's stay and we have to get in touch with our colleague who checked the guest in, it would be much easier if we have the option to choose the name of the employee who is checking in the guest.
    At this current state, when you check someone in via kiosk, the action log will say that "Mews Operator (Mews Kiosk)" has checked the guest in and not the name of the person!

  8. Allow all registered guests to sign a registration card. Right now only the main guest has that option but each person staying should have to sign and agree to terms and conditions. Specifically within the Co-Operator

  9. I would like to customize the check-out message on the kiosk.
    It now says 'If you need a copy of your bill, please contact us', but we do it automatically whenever we have an email address

  10. It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  11. We need the option to block specific rate codes from being eligible for self check-in via the kiosk. Some rates require guests to check in at the reception in order to present valid identification and/or to pay using specific payment methods that are not supported by the kiosk

  12. We offer the possibility of an early Check-in which begins at 12 PM. However, when the guests try to check in earlier the kiosk will allow the payment of the early check in and allow the check in.
    It would be nice if we could configure the kiosk to offer the posibility of an early check in only after 12 PM (which is the actual begin time of an early check in).   13. We are a hotel without a reception in house. Because we don't have any upselling during guest stays, we don't need any manual check out button at our kiosk. People are confused about check out button. Our guest only need to leave the apartment at a certain time and put the room card into a transparent box at the exit.   14. Update Timing Kiosk App: it would be very helpful to have a way of being able to determine the period in which the kiosk app receives its update? Since we have been using the app, it has repeatedly happened that the app receives an update just when guests have arrived and are waiting to be checked in. The update takes time which the guests do not have. So maybe it would be an idea to design it so that we as users of the app can decide when to download the current update - after we have received a message…

  19. If the reservation is for 10 people, once they enter the passport information af all the adults, they can create 10 keys for the apartment. We would like you to introduce an option in Mews where the hotel manager could limit the number of keys that the client can cut at the kiosk.

  20. Kiosk check-in for grouped reservations sends Check in summary email only to the reservation owner for all checked in rooms/guests in the group, even when additional guest create separate guest profiles while checking in on kiosk.
    It would be great to send Check in summary email to the each guest profile created on kiosk during online/kiosk check in.
