Drag and drop ordering of product lists
It would be great to be able to reorder product lists (and other lists) in Services by drag and drop.
Now, if you need to reorder a list of products, you have to go into each product and give it a number from 0+

being able to change the service of a product
sometimes you may wish to move a product from one additional service category to another (for example if you add a new service category due to expending the products offered).
at the moment this is not possible and you have to create a new one and delete the old one. not very time efficient and also messing up your reports as you could already have products booked.

More automation in the product rules
Now it is possible to use age categories. But these age categories just affects the room revenue. We need it also for products. For example child pricing: in a package (room + breakfast) not just the room rate should be reduced but also the product breakfast.
Great solution would be like that: in the product rule, we should be able to choose, if the product "breakfast adult" would be added when there are just adults in the room and the product "breakfast child" would be added, when there is another age category choosed. So basically product addition in product rules…

Allow products to be offered by all staff or only management
Some stay products are only used by management or certain reservation agents.
Now all other agents and staff have to go through a long list of products to find the product that they need for the booking. Restrictions based on availability.
Restrictions based on availability. We work with one channel that sells our rooms very well but cannot be connected to our channel manager, when we have low availability we want sell the last rooms via that channel. That only works if we close our own booking engine to avoid overbooking. Therefore it would be great if Mews had the possibility to restrict reservations via its booking engine based upon availability.

Make cashlist the standard for every guest without (valid) credit card, instead of having to choose this manually to prevent guests from running away without paying.

Extra Origin Option : Walk-In
When creating a reservation the option "In Person" is too limited for us. We have quite a high number of reservations that are made at the desk for a future stay. Therefore we cannot see the difference between reservations made in advance and "Walk-Ins".
Here an extra option: Walk-In would provide extra reporting and analysis opportunities.

highlight entire booking in specific color when room is ready
Ready colours for check-in highlight the entire box of the booking so there is confidence from the team that the room is ready.

Availability Blocks pick up pattern
When I enter a block pattern (example: 4-7-5-5-3) the system makes me pick the rooms up as if I have 4 rooms staying for one night, then 7 rooms staying for one night, then 5 rooms staying for 2 nights etc. instead of staggered arrivals with different lengths of stay like blocks typically are. Can that be changed?

Thank you for your suggestion. Availability blocks in Mews allow for availability to be adjusted per space category per day as you have described above. When availability is adjusted, a set number of spaces are removed from public availability per day.
It is possible to support staggered arrival dates within an availability block, however the arrival dates are limited within the contractual constraints agreed upon i.e the number of spaces made available per day.
Based on your example above, it appears that you are referring to run of house reservations. Is that the case?

Admin to have own the rights to be able to change employees usernames, currently all employees can change their usernames themselves

Splitting reservations should not increase pick up
When splitting a booking, it creates a new booking, and pick ups in any RMS. Please don't consider a booking as a new received booking, as it false pick up and data.

list of booker names doesn't display when making a reservation (window is hidden)
think there is an issue with the system as normally you are able to see the drop down window. now it seems to be hidden behind the availability window underneath. please look into this urgently as it creates more work with having to add this after the booking has been made.
PS - even on the next screen where there is no other window underneath are you able to see the bookers names!
PS2 - NOWHERE are you able to see the bookers names, not even in the reservation itself - madness!!!2 votesHi Simone,

We are currently looking into this issue, and would like to know a few more details, would you be able to ket us know if you are currently using Mews on Mobile or desktop as well as the browser you are using?
It is currently possible to view booker names on the reservation module, the booker name appears on the right hand side of the reservation module under the "Status" section.

Occupancy Dashboard
The dashboard on the home page should be expanded to select a date. Or expand the function so that you have a monthly overview. Working with the availability report is not sufficient here.

Extra / empty bed relative adjustment
It would be great if we can set a relative adjustment for a period and not set for the complete system. Meaning rates of 2022 and 2023 are different, meaning a different relative adjustment. However, I now have to adjust it manually in the booking as this feature is not there.

Interactive Training on MEWS University
While going through the MEWS University it would be EXTREMELY beneficial to allow us to get involved and interact by moving our mouse pad etc.. rather than just watching and listening. Maybe a more personal training experience where the persons voice asks us to move our mouse pads over a certain area and select options etc..

split out of order blocks
it would save a lot of time if the yellow out of order blocks could be split instead of us having to shorten them and create a new one for the other half when we only need to open up a room for a certain date.
