Room status after cleanup
Hello, I'd like to share an idea regarding the Housekeeping.The hotel bought mobile phones for every chambermaid and the manager in order to work with the Mews app and the features it offers. However, we have noticed, that if our chambermaids do the cleaning (they change the status from DIR-->CLN) and the manager inspects it and is satisfied ( change from CLN -->INS ) marks it as inspected and it stays like that until further change.
The issue emerges when we're talking about a room, where does the guests stay, 'cause the app says "inspected" even the other day, when an daily cleanup should be in order.
So, my question/recommendation is, is it possible to make the room status change at some time period (by midnight every day), or when the mews knows, that this room is going to be full until .XX.YY ?

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us.
We are very happy to inform you that we have released a setting called "Check-in makes space dirty". With this option selected an inspected room will be marked as dirty as soon as a guest checks in. If a guest is staying overnight the space will automatically be marked as dirty at midnight.
