Split charges on bill
It's quite common for guests to book accommodation together, meaning that when they're ready to pay, they would like to split charges evenly or with some other percentage. Currently this is not possible in Mews, but an additional feature could allow billing charges to be split according to guest preferences before payment.

It is really important for us to split charges for differents guests.
Guests can share rooms and they ask us for an own invoice for the different companies as well. -

It ist really important for us to split charges on guest accounts.
Often guests are sharing rooms and both of them need there own invoice for the company.It is also important if one part is covered by the company.

Hi, we have a big group and every room has to be divided into 2 different company invoices. Now we cannot do it unfortunately or we have to do for now manual corrections and post everything separately. This is very critical. Please improve.

Can we please have an option to split a rate and to split a payment ? Like you can partially refund a payment. IE guest pays by card 110€ but wants 2 invoices. first invoice room only 100€ and second invoice extras 10€ . guest doesnt want 2 payments on his card. How can you split the payment amount of 110€ on 2 invoices ?

It is a critical and very important step for us to be able to give the guests a efficient check out as some guests want to pay hafl/half, or other have a certain amount covered and are paying the remaning amount themselves. Need to be a feature for payments.

It is very critically important that we can split payments. Automatic charging is now done per room but sometimes this is required for invoicing purposes especially when part of the stay is covered by the company

And if I may add, some corporate travelers want to split in order to have bills showing incidentals and authorized expenses when the company does not pay for some incurred charges.

So kann man einfach und schnell die Kosten der Übernachtung splitten.
Unter dem Reiter Preise kann man den Durchschnittspreis ändern, auch nachdem der Gast eingecheckt wurde bzw schon übernachtet hat. Ich habe hier dann einfach die Hälfte eingegeben und die erste Rechnung gestellt. Dann auf einer zweiten Rechnung die zweite Hälfte manuell aufgebucht. Hoffe, es klappt auch bei euch. -

This is a crucial component for us. We have a lot of packages with inclusions and need to be able to charge on a per person basis for the entire thing. Currently impossible with Mews but would be a game changer for our business!

Very important! Guests wanting to split food charges, companys only have a certain amount covered and guests requiring to pay the extra (list could go on)

Feels odd that this is still not a feature, every other PMS has it. We get a lot of corporate guests who the company is only covering a specific amount of their food charged and since we can't split anything makes this quite a lengthy process when it should really just be a quick few clicks. Effects check out time as well.

I agree with all previous comments. This feature is absolutely necessary! Many guests, especially couples, friends or families who travel together want to split their bill and the "workaround option" seems unnecessarily complicated for such an easy task, especially when the guests are standing in front of you. Would be greatly appreciated if you could make this happen.

This is absolutely important when you have business guests because they need separate bills. Most of the times they book longer than what the company is paying so they stay with family and they do require a bill for the period the company is paying and a bill for the period the guest is paying.
