Set a Minimum advance reservation restriction for online bookings
I would like to set a "Minimum advance reservation" restriction 4 hours before midnight (8 pm). Then customers cannot reserve online after 8 pm for reservations on that day of arrival. Our reception closes at 9 pm. This way our reception has at least 1 hour to help guests with information (digital keys, night safe) for a late arrival.

Managers Flash Report (Statistics, Revenue, Detail Drill Down)
Would like to see Managers Report with expandable categories like the Accounting Report. Hotels use a Flash Report which is a combination of statistics, revenues broken down by type and often need detail information of the other revenues for their Flash Report. This report is generated daily but also there is a need to see each day in the month format. Some properties want basic information, other more granular. Additional Statistics by Market Segment should be added so all this information is on one page in one place rather than run 3 different reports and manually input into an Excel…

On the Books Report Summary by Market Segment
Confirmed, Consumed and Forecasted Revenue, Room Nights and ADR on the books by Market Segment for a specific date span. Example, if I wanted to see on Total On the Books for June and today is June 10, I would select June 1 to June 30 date span. This would show me consumed revenue for the first 9 days and confirmed revenue from June 10 to June 30. Summary Report only. Add sorting by product, currency and payment method
It would be very convenient to see in the report information about in what currency and how guests paid for certain products. Let's take breakfast for example:
- How many breakfasts did the guests pay in cash in euros?
- How many breakfasts did the guests pay in cash in CZK?
- How many breakfasts did the guests pay with a credit card in euros?
- How many breakfasts did the guests pay with a credit card in CZK?
This will be useful for hotels in countries where multiple currencies are used.

All required fields in the PMS are based on legal requirements. It is unlikely that we will allow the modification of required fields, or the addition of mandatory fields that do no meet legal standards in each region in the near future.

Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.
In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.

Mews PMS Messages (Chat) go to all persons to receive messages, can we change?
If you have been off for a few days, when you log in you receive all past messages which is annoying. Would it be possible to only receive message sent/received for the day you log in versus past history of messages?

Market Segment Production Report Summary + Day by Day Detail Report
Would like to have the ability to view/export/print a day by day market segment report for a specific date span. This could be for past dates or future dates. This would include only totals, no details or drill down required, of room nights, ADR by market segment. Would also be good to show Period to Date, Year to Date, Period to Date Last Year and YTD Last Year with Summary Totals at the bottom of the report. This would make it easier for property management and revenue management teams to see how they are performing as compared to Last Year.…

Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered as Mews will always show a reservation owner on the Timeline and all companions within the reservation detail in order to avoid large lists of names on the Timeline.

Les propositions que nous envoyons à nos clients pour les demandes de groupes manquent cruellement de clairté et de précisions.
Il faudrait travailler sur le sujet.
Que le client ait un récapitulatif par exemple :
Par date de séjour du nombre de logements proposé, à quel prix par nuit x le nb de nuits le total TTC et HT
idem pour les produits annexes.

Would it be possible for the statistics to show that the second person in a double room/ twin room is automatically assigned to the same nation?

Multiple UserType and UserGroup in the Json data of key cutter integration
Being able to have multiple UserTypes and UserGroups would allow us to add common doors on rooms that require it. Right now only one of each is allowed per key cutter resulting in guests needing assistance to check in vs kiosk

choose where you would like to print the text on the reg card (currently on the right hand margin and most guests read from left to right rather than right to left).

Thank you for sharing your feedback. All headers on registration cards are left aligned, whereas free text fields added to the registration cards are right aligned during printing.
The reason the alignment is set this way, is to allow our uses and guests to easily see when text (such as a name or email for example) has been added to the registration card rather than having all the text stacked. The additional white space on left is added to allow users to write additional text without obstructing the original format.
The current format has been selected for ease of use. It is therefore unlikely that it will be adjusted in the near future.

Allow all links in MEWS to be opened in a new tab with a middle mouse click
All the Main Menu sections, all links within MEWS - please make them openable with the middle mouse click (new tab in the browser) - it's tedious to have to manually open a new instance of MEWS in another tab to be able to quickly view two sections side-by-side. Why are not all links and sections like this?

There should be a feature where guests can receive their booking confirmation in a PDF file.
At this moment booking confirmations are sent automatically by the system, you can not change it to a pdf file.
