  2. I think, the new billings view is illegible and I wish, the old view will stay for ever. It was easier. I don't know, why Mews is changing something what is working well!!

  3. Add an option in settings to set the Billing screen standard to the 'Old Billing Screen' or the new 'Group Billing Screen'. That way, if the original billing screen is prefered you do not have to change the screen manually everytime.

    We have added functionality that will allow you to switch between the new and old billing screens. However, we will soon be removing the old billing screen towards the end of February 2021.

  4. At the moment, Mews continues to match the actual date and time after midnight, so this is creating problems when night auditors are trying to fix various things for what is now the previous day.

    Would it be possible for Mews to remain 'stuck' on the current day at midnight, so that any further postings done throughout the early morning still post as the previous day, THEN when everything's good and ready, the Night Auditor could then 'roll the system' by completing the day just gone, and starting afresh for the new day?   6. Currently it seems like it's not possible to change the naming of packages on a bill.
    All packages appear with the name "Stay Package" on the bill.
    It would be great if you could change the name to something more specific like "Gourmet package". Perhaps the product category name for the items in the package could decide the package name on the bill.

  7. The new Billing screen is just horrible.
    I switch to the old billing screen everytime and i guess i am not the only one doing that. When i ask others, they think the same.
    Having a vertical menu is not a bad idea, but I cannot use the new menu because its a pain ********** to read what's on the screen.
    Everything is in the same white square, and I can barely see what is what except if i take time to focus on the screen... What is the point of having a social media-like interface if it burns my…

    We at Mews follow strict design guidelines and principles and customising the colours on the timeline is currently not something we will be working on. We constantly review our design choices and will keep usability and accessibility very close in our decision making process.

  9. Notre balance des tiers, avec la fermeture et les annulations est surchargée en encours négatifs.
    Nous avons vu ensemble que dès lors que nous avons une annulation, le chiffre d’affaire annulation tardif se poste automatiquement sans que nous ne puissions rien faire.
    Est-il possible dans ce cas de faire en sorte de filtrer dans la balance, les encours négatifs et positifs ?

  11. Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.

    IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

    If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.

    However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

  12. I just want to know why they are complicating the billing screen at a time when there were no issues with it? We don't understand. We feel a little held ******* by this design flaw. The old billing screen is a godsend for Accounting. It makes the workflow so much smoother. We feel as though the new billing screen is an eyesore and hard to read.   16. We would like to good old billing back. It is totally chaotic, sometimes when we add a product on the profile, it adds it to the bill, then sometimes it doesn't, but when it doesn't, you can not choose to put them together. Also, when a guest wishes to pay less than the full bill on one day and the rest to pay on other days, we can not just simply choose some days.   17. We should have a unified solution for updating the cost of items that are outside of EHW or closed on a bill. For example in some Legal Environments, taxes are applied based on the length of reservation. Upon the change of length, taxes should be updated on all nights.
    This should be somehow reflected in reports and values such as average night rate etc.

  19. Matching the Manager report and Accounting report could be difficult as there is no option for a more granular view of the Manager report. Manager report should be expandable same as the Accounting report - have mode Grouped and Detailed so it can be drilled down to actual charges and bills.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

    The “Move selected items” button appears in the lower section of the screen in order to allow you to move multiple selected bill items from different bills. Whereas the “Move all items” button sits on a individual bill, which means the action is limited to the items on one bill.

    It is for this reason why the two buttons are in separate locations. It is unlikely that the location for the “Move selected items” will be changed as the current location fits the use cases for multiple actions to be carried out at once.
