However, for guest retention, it would be helpful if a birthday email is automatically sent to existing guests. This could be linked to a special offer, for example. - It would be ideal if this birthday mail could be sent directly from Mews. - Alternatively, it would also be conceivable if a link could be made with Zapier. Currently there is no trigger field in Mews, which can be used for this purpose.

An error occurred while saving the comment Felix Helbling commentedThe comments show that the existing placeholders are not sufficient, especially for confirmations of group reservations and also for individual reservation confirmations, and that there is a great desire for additional placeholders.
Sometimes there are also missing placeholders, which could be derived from existing information. Currently, for example, the placeholder "Sehr geehrte" or "Sehr geehrter" is missing. This could be derived from {titlePrefix}. It would be helpful if the user could create placeholders and define the content with a formula. So for example many more text modules could be created individually and mail templates could be automated better.There are always situations in which a reservation confirmation should be individually adapted to the guest. Furthermore, there is currently no possibility to check a mail before sending it to the guest. It would therefore be helpful to have a mail preview before sending, which could be adjusted manually.

An error occurred while saving the comment Felix Helbling commentedFrom my point of view, the problem is still not solved. - In our daily work we are more and more annoyed by the slow loading and response times of Mews. - The response times of Mews are very different and the issue cannot be reproduced. The slow loading times affect different areas of Mews. For example, when searching for guests in the search box, loading the room overview, editing a reservation, etc.
When we check the Mews status, we can't find any special occurrences.

An error occurred while saving the comment Felix Helbling commentedThis function was created with the intention to relieve the reception in the allocation of rooms. However, when the occupancy rate exceeds 70%, it is more efficient if the rooms are not assigned until the day of arrival. The user should be able to choose whether a new reservation is automatically assigned to a room or whether this function is switched off. If the user wishes, he should have the possibility (e.g. for a regular guest or special request) to assign a reservation manually to a room.
Only rooms assigned to a room should be visible in the room plan. All other reservations should be assigned to one room category only. Ideally, there should be a separate area for unassigned reservations. Currently, the room overview is very confusing with many unallocated reservations in the future.
At best, there could be a function that automatically makes an allocation suggestion to the early service for the arrivals of the current day.

Depending on the occupancy and season, the upmark for the rate with 2 people would be dynamic meaning no fixed upmark. Since Mews cannot receive rates for occupancy with 2nd person via the interface, we also have to calculate with a fixed upmark in our Yielding Tool and we cannot fully utilize the possibilities of the Yielding Tool.

For group reservations, an additional template is required for the offer and group confirmation. Currently, the group offers and confirmations must always be created or adjusted manually. The following variables should be available in a new template:
- Address
- Contact / Booker
- Group name
- Number of rooms in a room category
- No. Pers. per room category
- Room rate
- Option date
- Billing addressI hope that there will soon be an improvement in the handling and reporting of group reservations.

The existing birthday report only displays the birthdays of guests who are currently staying at the hotel. - In order to create a birthday mailing, a birthday query must be created that takes into account the entire guest list and not just those who are currently in the hotel. The birthday report could be linked to MailChimp, for example. In this way, a birthday mailing could be sent automatically every day and former guests could be motivated to stay again, for example with a birthday present.
