This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. I like to have the following privileges seperated in MEWS. So only the finacial accounting department can add or change:
-Settings -> Finance -> ALL
-Settings -> Sales -> Services -> Service -> Products -> Accounting category
I like to have Mews financial imports only at the time when an reservation is completed/ at the check-out date (when the guest receives the definitive invoice). At this moment Mews import during a stay for each night.
For guest payments is it ok to import on the date that a payment is added in Mews. This makes that you can follow the payments between Mews and the financial system, like a register system.
