We would like to suggest a feature that allows room sales to automatically close during hours when the reception is closed.
The idea is that the system should stop selling rooms for same-day arrivals once the reception closing time has passed, unless late check-in is explicitly enabled. This would help avoid situations where guests book a room online but arrive when no staff is present to assist them.
Ideally, the feature could be configured per property and include:
Defined reception opening and closing hours
Automatic stop-sell for same-day arrivals after reception closing time
Optional exceptions for properties that offer self check-in or night access
Clear visibility in the system showing when and why sales are closed
This functionality would improve operational control, reduce guest confusion, and help ensure a better arrival experience while minimizing manual intervention by staff.
