It would be really helpful to have a search bar for guest messages, making it much easier to find specific conversations. Currently, the search bar is located under "Internal Member." Additionally, it would be great if we could have the option to delete messages as needed.

Yes, it would be very helpful if a zero balance did not trigger a charge. This happens quite often for us.
We can’t always close the bill or remove the scheduled payment, in order to avoid a double charge. Most of the time, guests want all items to appear on the same bill and only inform us at check-out, so we end up having to reissue the bill every time — which is quite not the best.
