    This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates.     We've made some exciting progress in how we're thinking about introducing multiple rates within a single reservation, and we need your help!

    We’d love to understand your expectations regarding the behavior around rate mixing. Right now, we’re especially looking for insights from two key roles:

    • Reservation managers / front desk staff who handle reservations daily
    • Revenue managers


    If this sounds like you, you're the perfect person to help shape this new capability. Here’s how:

    Sometimes clients book 2 consecutive nights through 2 different means. It would help the communication with housekeeping if the reception was able to "link" the 2 reservations together so it is clear that the same person stays in the room. Additionally, it would be helpful to have an automatic detection of this kind of things, like a notification warning us that a reservation has been made with a similar name a day before or after.

    Please be aware that personnal data protection makes it illegal in numerous countries to keep medical informations about guests after their stay. For hotels in those countries, it would be helpful for the information to be automatically deleted once the guests checks out.

    This idea is perfect but asks for a lot of features. What we really need is the ability to set a rule and for mews to automatically create a housekeeping task according to this rule to every long stay. For instance, we could set the rules that we're changing bedsheets every 3 days and the housekeeping task would be created (and modified) automatically when the reservation is created (or modified).

    This is the number one reason nobody in our hotel uses "Preferred Space Features". We write it in the guest profiles notes because it allows us to see it directly in the details when clicking on a reservation on the calendar. Having it directly apparent would be even better and make room assignation much smoother.
