It would be important for us to be able to select a ‘Budget Room’ room type as well, so that we can better analyse the occupancy of the different room types in the management report. We have suites and rooms in the hotel and budget rooms in the annex, but they all run through the same bookable service. If I only needed this internally for the management report, I could, for example, list the rooms in the annex under the room type ‘Bed’, but unfortunately this designation is also displayed in the Mews booking engine and that would be misleading for the guest. Why there are designations such as ‘Amphitheatre’ or ‘Grounds’ for this is a mystery to me. It’s a pity that we can’t create our own room types.
