    API Endpoint that would determine whether a particular bill item originated from POS.

    You may need to have this flag set to true when items are pushed into Mews.

    What's our Use Case?

    We want to be able to retrieve bill items that have originated in POS to Mews and we'll use Mews' interface to receive this information.

  2. Can you please develop option to send a manual push for selected rate codes? At present when sending a push it includes each existing rate codes and it slows the system down for an entire day!!

  4. We manage local accommodation flats. The guest access to the rooms is done through a pin code that we send to the guest before the check in date. Our system is TESA Smart Air by Assa Abloy.
    Currently to send pins to the guests we have to manually input into the TESA system the room information, check in and check out date and guest name, generate the code and send to the guest This procedure is time consuming and error prone.

  10. All reservations are coming through as Channel Manager and does not break out CHM Booking Engine (Website). The filter by Reservation Source is also not granular enough. Normally a Reservation Source Report would break out GDS by Channel, Booking Engine (non-Mews) and OTA's by Channel. Also not reflecting in Mews Analytics. We need better more granular data from our Channel Manager for proper internal reporting.

    Are we not receiving this data from Channel Managers as the original origin of the bookings and passing it on to Mews?

  11. There are some endpoints (for example: the /reservations/search endpoint) that allow us to query certain objects like reservations that were created or modified in a certain time interval. If the time interval causes Mews to fetch too many objects, it will return a 408. This can be less straightforward for the caller as the caller does not know in which time interval most creations/modifications happened and the caller will thus keep calling the endpoint until the time interval is finally small enough for the request to succeed.   12. Currently occupancy or capacity information (adultCount, childCount) is only available in event data after the user has selected a room, however the data is available in the UI when the list of rooms is shown to the user.

    For 3rd party tools (like price comparisons widgets) that need to compare rooms with capacity information this presents a real data accuracy problem.

    If the data could be exposed on each availableRoom in the distributorAvailabilityLoaded event it would not only ensure the event is consistent with the UI but also improve the accuracy of third party tools.

  13. By doing more actions Mews to Mews on Zapier we would be able to have an infinite possibility of automations in various fields such as :
    - payments : charge 50% remaining of a flexible rate, 30 days before arrival
    -preauthorisations : on day of arrival, charge automatically the preauthorisations. If failed send email to team and guest...
    - out of order : if maintenance issue task, turn property to OOO
    -...
    If doable the possibilities would be endless and allow advance users through automation to personalize/automate their PMS

  17. Currently the [PlatformAddress]/api/connector/v1/reservations/updateCustomer endpoint only accepts a single ReservationId

    If it could accept an array of ReservationIds this would allow us to perform batch updates of customers on a selection of reservations in a single API request as opposed to many repeated requests.

  18. Get Customers response requested by guest room key NFC UID

    As POS Operator I want to use a guest room key UID (16 digit Hex code e.g., 803687a2415404) to search for the guest on the POS so that do not have to ask for the guests room number and can use the same method to pay and justify a room posting.

  20. We need to see "Guarantee information" sent by the OTAs (especially booking.com) via the channel manager. This data is included in the xml file sent by the channel manager to Mews.

    Without seeing this information receptionist must open the reservation not only in Mews but also in booking.com to make sure whether the guest must pay at the reception or he/she already paid at the OTA and there is a virtual credit card available for the reservation.
