Ability to switch off the legionella function
Some hostels often have rooms that do not have bathrooms connected and therefore do not have water pipes. In this a few other cases, turning those rooms to "dirty" with reason "legionella" after 7 days unoccupied does not apply.
Can we add a setting that will allow us to turn off "legionella"?

Resources (parking lots, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and others) can be offered through multiple services
A hotel is not just rooms and beds. There are many resources in each hotel. There can be co-working spaces, parking lots, conference rooms, kitchens, sport courts, bikes or boats, sports equipment etc. (the list could be literally endless) and we want to manage them in the system and offer them to the guests just like we offer rooms and beds today. It would allow us to boost the non-accommodation revenue and diversify the hotel's business.

I have a fresh update from our development.
Solution for parking, office and meeting room management has been live and helping hundreds of Mews customers diversify their revenues for quite some time.
With the recent release of hourly reservations (details here https://releases.mews.com/en/introducing-hourly-services-to-maximize-your-revenue-PuFPZIwq), we are making it even easier to manage these services.
In the coming months, the team will be focusing on improvements for long stays (pro-rata, precise reporting, flexible products & housekeeping intervals etc.)

Expand room status options
At present the available Space Status are Dirty, Clean & Inspected (OOS & OOO).
From a front office and housekeeping perspective this is limiting.
Could you please consider the following please?
VACANT READY - Inspected
OCCUPIED DIRTY - Guest checked in
OCCUPIED READY - Inspected stay over
VACANT DIRTY - Guest checked out
PICKUP - Room move and for housekeeping to inspectThis would offer more clarity as to not only the status of the room but also the ‘condition’, meaning the physical status of the room (guest). This is important for the operation of a hotel.

reservations longer then a year
We have received an error message 'reservation too long'. Currently reservations can only be accepted < 365 days. We need to be able and show there is business for long stays for our stakeholders and therefore splitting the reservations provide wrong information regarding the LOS. I would advise extending this time frame to 2 years
53 votesHello, reservations longer than a year can be created through monthly bookable services functionality. The maximum length is restricted to 5 years.
In the coming months, the team will focus on improving the functionality for long stays (monthly reservations) and introduce pro-rating, flexible housekeeping and product posting.

Room move vs. re-allocation in action log
Would it be possible that a room change and a physical room move be separated and able to be reported as such in the action log?

Canceled order notifications
When orders are placed in Mews, there are often notifications sent for confirmation. However, when orders are canceled, it is more difficult to keep track of this lost revenue. Therefore, when orders are canceled, introduction of a notification e-mail could help properties stay more informed as detail of each cancellation would be available for future statistics and analysis.

Different confirmations per space type
As we sell different space types we would like to make different confirmation templates per space type, better suiting the product.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.
In order to make use of this functionality:
1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

There should be an extra line for the meeting room. So we can place Reservations in MEWS

There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.

Under Space Categories, add a feature so that extra capacity is for children only.
My suggestion is to allow for extra capacity in space categories to be for children only. All my spaces are standard occupancy of two people with some spaces having extra capacity set at two. As a property want to be able to specify 2 adults + 2 children and not potentially attract booking for 4 adults.

Automatic space assignment based on space feature requests
"If customers request a specific space feature, such as a balcony or a garden view, this must be processed after received so that an employee can manually assign such a space for that individual. Rather than manual assignment, however, properties may want to automate these feature requests. A new feature would enable the system to automatically allocate space assignment based on customer requests."

We would need MANY more classification-items, such as Low floor, soundproof room, bathtub etc.

Restrict Spaces so children can't be booked in
Currently you can book adults or children into a space. However, particularly in hostels, some rooms aren't suitable for children. eg. you shouldn't be allowed to book a 10 year old into our 28 bed dorm on their own.

Create limited stock for the different product solded.
For example, if we sold parking spot, and we have a limited number of them.

Attach photos to space status report
Sometimes reporting issues for repair can be difficult to describe to your maintenance teams. However,we all know that pictures are worth a thousand words. Therefore,for clarification, adding photos to your Space Status report could help all departments communicate more efficiently, as you can report problems more accurately using visual cues.
