Feature Request – Payment Method Visibility and Company Preferences

Hello Mews Team,

I would like to suggest two improvements to payment method management in Mews.

Payment method visible in the reservation summary

It would be helpful to have a clear payment method indicator in the reservation summary, defaulting to “Credit Card” but allowing staff to switch to “Direct Billing” with a simple click. This would make the payment arrangement immediately visible and help prevent billing errors.

Default payment method for company profiles

It would also be useful to set a preferred payment method for each company profile, such as Credit Card or Debtor Billing. When creating a reservation linked to that company, the preferred payment method would automatically be applied.

For example, if one company always pays by credit card and another is always billed directly, the appropriate payment method would automatically appear on each reservation.

These improvements would reduce manual steps, prevent errors, and make payment arrangements clearer for the entire team.
