  1. The Match & Merge Page should have a button that would allow the properties to decline/cancel the match "permanently"; otherwise, if we deem the suggested profiles are not a match, it will stay on the page as we have no other way to remove it. Right now, there is only "Merge" or "Review Later".

  4. When you try to type at the beginning of a word in the guest profile or invoice title, the cursor keeps jumping to the end of the line.

    I've checked with the relevant product team and am happy to confirm this was updated in November 2023. Thank you for letting us know there was an issue here.

  5. With the thema Licence plates, the current online Registration cards do not have the option for guests to provide a plate nummber. So even though the guest completes the online check-in they still have to provide this information to the reception

  8. I tried finding a specific travel agency today and discovered that you are not able to search in the travel agency contracts profile!
    as they are not alphabetically or able to filter other than by country, it is sheer impossible to find anything!
    is there please an improvement coming with regards to agents as this is the most time consuming an illogical part of Mews.

  9. I would like to find guest profiles in Mews by entering the phone number in the search bar (Even if country code is missing or written in 00 instead of +).

  10. When looking for a name in the search bar, the results are shown in alphabetical order. It would be way more convenient if the client profiles where sorted by closest reservation in time.
    That way, when typing "Smith", you'll first get Mr Smith that has a reservation tomorrow or Mr Smith that just left last week-end and not Adam Smith from 4 years ago.

  11. Set the “email” field of a booking as mandatory in the customer profile. This information is extremely important in terms of customer interaction. Moreover a customer will be more willing to change an email address created by Booking or Expedia into its own personal email address.

    I'm Olivia from the Product team at Mews.

    We already have a functionality in place to collect "real" email addresses from guests who have booked through an OTA, as part of the online check-in flow.

    I would recommend to check the following article in our Help Centre for more details: "Obtaining verified guest email addresses from Online Travel Agency bookings during online check-in".

  12. It would be nice if you can block certain company profiles from being edited or deleted.

    A simple check box for this, similar to the invoiceable checkbox would be great.

    If this checkbox is selected the profile should only be adjustable by users with certain rights, similar to the invoiceable option.

  14. many a time we type in a guest surname only to get a blank result. unless you type in the first name of a guest, you are getting a wrong outcome.
    this is absolutely vital for us as many times you get a family name to look for and not the first name of a guest. you are then either saying the guest is not in-house or you don't know it is a return guest.
    not very good for the guest's journey...

  15. Digital signature for registration cards in the main Mews system.

    Kiosks or pre-arrival is great, but this feature is really needed in all devices. Our teams are equipped with ipads and MS Surface laptops. For them not having this feature and having to drag the guest to the kiosk does not gives the right impression. Especially for guests who failed to check in at kiosk for whatever reason.

  18. When you export customer profiles to excel, the field 'language' is not added. So I need to filter on postal code to know which language the customer speaks. Which is totally incorrect.
    Please add the field 'language' to the excelfile guest profiles.

  19. The system should have a tool to detect automatically similar profiles (same name and surname for example) and propose one by one to merge or not the profile. It could be a big help and time saver for us, as it could take time to detect duplicate profile.

  20. At the moment the SC number is posted at the IATA field which is incorrect.
    Please create a new field for the SC number and include it into the reporting.

    The SC number is the international ID for companies within Accor and helps to ensure to have the correct company profile selected.

    This "little" change would effect allot and would be highly appreciated not only from MOA Berlin but all Accor hotels using MEWS worldwide.
