We need to be able to edit the term "categories" - my hotel is 13 rooms and they're all unique so they're all their own categories and users, when they are invited to explore other rooms with availability it reads "other categories with availability" which to the user makes no sense. One simple field in the back end for how to refer to "categories" would make a huge difference for our business.

  2. At this time the hostory for email is 3 month, it will be great if it can be 6 month or 1 year if possible.

  3. Vouchers can be associated with companies or travel agencies (instead of being public). However, currently, when a voucher is used to book a reservation, there is no voucher information or company / travel agency information attached to that reservation in Mews.

    It would be very helpful if company / travel agency and voucher codes could be attached to reservation data and if those voucher-based reservations can be searched for through the reservations reports.

  4. When a reservation is created via the booking engine with an invalid payment the guest does not receive any email to tell them a reservation is on hold. The guest does receive however a cancellation email when the cancellation 'booking abandoned'. This is causing many confusions and complaints as guests did not know to begin with that a reservation is being held, they should not receive an email when this cancels .

  5. Add the possibility to add conditions for the automatic emails.
    For instance, when a guest create a last minute booking and a pre-checkin email is is sent, make sure no other email is sent to fill the profil on the same day.
    Avoiding dupplicate information.

  8. Hey team,

    It would be great if we can upload our own favicon on the MEWS distributor links.
    In this way users better understand they are on the hotels brand website.
    And it will help for Google Hotel Search; currently the hotels show with a green generic logo.
    There is the option to request your own logo however following Google’s guidelines the favicon must match the final url:

  9. It should be possible to add multiple pictures to be displayed for products on the booking engine (Mews distributor). The pictures should be a carousel, displayed in the "Enhance your stay" section for add-on products.

  10. At the moment every booking service has its own Booking engine. It would be great if the customer could book multiple services in one flow. For example accommodation and parking spaces at the same time.

  11. it would be a cool e-commerce feature increasing conversion if we could send a reminder and summary of an abandoned booking in distributor via e-mail. A personalised text and an easy way to book would be a must.

  12. With regards to our highest room category, which is our ******, we have a price increase for additional guests from CHF 50 to CHF 70,-/each and for children from CHF 30,- to CHF 35,-/each as of 1st January 2023!
    Therefore we need the possibility to amend only for *

  13. Often the booker asks us to copy the guest in the proposal or confirmation emails. Currently, we have to send the emails twice (once at the time of booking and again through the booking module). Would it be more efficient and clearer for the guest/booker to have the possibility to add another email address (recipients) in CC for the proposal and confirmation emails?

  14. Calendar needs to be configurable to have weeks starting on Sunday.
    In the U.S., the vast majority of guests are used to a Sunday-Saturday calendar.
    We have had multiple guests who booked a Saturday & Sunday night stay but intended to book a Friday & Saturday night stay.
    This causes problems later if the inn is all booked, as these guests cannot stay the night they expected.

  15. Properties are looking for more personalized experience. It's important to collect information such as allergies, personal preferences, arrival time, etc.

    It would be great if there was a flexibility to add additional fields in the booking engine (arrival, allergies, preferences, occasion for the stay) and give properties flexibility to collect this important data from their guests at the time of booking.

  16. We have a large amount of room types that have King beds capable of being converted into Twin configuration. Rather than choosing a set amount of rooms to sell as "Twin" we would prefer to make it an OPTION for the guest to choose their bed configuration. That way the full quantity of splittable beds is available to sell on our booking engine. Additionally, from an operational perspective we know 100% which bed configuration guests require. Splitting beds (or combining them to a King) is very labour intensive and has cost implications from a linen/bedding perspective. Having clear options at…

  17. The Sign in image set under "Property" (seen in the guest portal) is also the image shown as background in the Booking Engine.
    We want the option to set different Pictures.

    Sign In image looks best in 640x800 while Booking engine background looks best in fullscreen (1080x1920).

  18. Looking for IBE that ONLY allows customers moving forward having a Voucher code;
    Step 1/ Enter Voucher code
    Step 2/ If viable move forward taking reservations
    So having a landing page entering voucher code prior to moving to date/occupancy selection.

  19. We are expiring very unsatisfied guests who stays with us every week and is 'getting spammed with e-mails' both before and after each of their stay. We need to option to turn the automated e-mails off in the guest profile.

    These e-mails should still be sent to all new guests whereas returning guests seem to get VERY annoyed by receiving the same e-mails weekly in connection with their stays.

    Right now our only option is to completely remove their e-mail address from Mews which creates tons of issues with multiple guest profiles for the same guest, issues with sending confirmations…

  20. We are currently using Mews on Enterprise level. Thou multiproperty Mews gives us great analitics, unfortunately is a bit weaker on the day-to-day use. It would be great if we could create one promo voucher that would work for all the properties in the multiproperty booking engine. Currently this option is not available and vouchers need to be created separately for each property.
