  1. There are currently two ways to open the booking engine and I would like to see them combined.

    1. Standalone: to open the booking engine with a URL on a new tab/page of the browser. It also allows deeplinks to preselect language, currency, dates, persons, category etc.
    2. Widget: to open the booking engine in a, iframe popup overlay by creating a button with the class 'distributor-open' and without link.

    I would like to use a combination of them, so open the widget with a deeplink.

    It should be as easy as adding the deeplink to a button with the class 'distributor-open'.…

  3. The link of the online check-in in the mail before arrival is not vailid any more after the guest is checked-in. Sometimes the Guest needs more time to fill on the information. Can you please leave the link in the mail active also after the check in. This is also in compliance with legislation, as the information in Austria has to be provided within 24/48 hrs after check-in date.

  4. Afterpay have a large presence in ANZ and are expanding their offering. Offering the payment option via the Mews BE would enhance the experience for customers in the region.

  5. If mews could sell USB camera modules that could be placed next to kiosks/computers for easier Document "Scanning".
    If all documents are the same brightness, distance from the lens it could speed up the scanning procedure.

  6. On results page, the number of searched adults is located on a separate event (ga4FetchedWithOccupancy) from the event containing a Data Layer with searched dates, availableRooms, prices, currency. Include the searched adults number in the data layer of ga4CategoriesLoaded

  7. a more complete overview for the guest.
    With comming and previous bookings.
    Automatically see all invoices.
    Change invoice details (adress, company name etc.).
    Change dates / bookings

    So that the guests can do everything without the need to contact us.

  8. For emails sent from an hourly service booking, it would be useful if the booked hours could be included in the booking details (e.g. the customer can see that they have booked a room from 9am 30/07/23 - 4pm 30/07/23). Currently only the date is shown. We are using the hourly service for our meeting room.

  9. Guests can chat with us via the button in the booking confirmation, why is there no app or interface for guests to install on our tablets or guest phone so they can continue to chat with us during their stay?

  10. Currently the emails that are sent use the location name as the 'Sender' name. We would like to customize this, so that regardless of location, emails sent to our guests are using our company name (or something else).

  11. When you write the description of a product, you can add spaces between lines of text. However when the description of the product is viewed in the online portal where the guest can purchase it, the spaces are removed and the text appears as a single block. HTML or markdown coding does not fix this. It would be good if the line spaces entered in the description were replicated in the guest portal.

  12. Add additional field to the availability block to communicate details on the booking link. Right now, guests with booking link cannot book pre and post dates. Guests using the link do not know that and get upset. If there was a field linked to the booking link, we could add a Welcome, specify block dates, and cut-off dates, along with who to contact to book outside of the block.

  14. Vouchers can be associated with companies or travel agencies (instead of being public). However, currently, when a voucher is used to book a reservation, there is no voucher information or company / travel agency information attached to that reservation in Mews.

    It would be very helpful if company / travel agency and voucher codes could be attached to reservation data and if those voucher-based reservations can be searched for through the reservations reports.

  16. Over 80% of all customers leave a check-out before the order is finally completed. The reason for this is a lack of payment options. We want Mews to open up so that companies such as Paypal, Klarna, Vipps (for Norway) etc.++ can be integrated with the check-out solution in Mews' booking engine. The company "Dintero" collects all these payment solutions and is open to be integrated with Mews.

    This is critical for us, and especially in a market in Norway where digital payment solutions are so well implemented in the customer journey.

  18. Upon not finishing a booking, having mews register the reason for not completing the reservation.
    Registering the "missed" reservations and the quantity and reason could help sales optimize potential revenue.
    This could be done with a small box saying what is the reason for not completing the reservation? (price too high, no availability, test booking etc)

  19. With regards to our highest room category, which is our ******, we have a price increase for additional guests from CHF 50 to CHF 70,-/each and for children from CHF 30,- to CHF 35,-/each as of 1st January 2023!
    Therefore we need the possibility to amend only for *

  20. We are a charity who provide accommodation for people at a greatly subsidised cost. We would like the online check out to prompt/ask guests if they would like to make a donation during the online check out process and to ask if they are Gift Aid eligible as part of that. It is similar to retailers who ask you to donate when paying online to their chosen charities and would make a huge difference to us.
