Import Reservations with Creation Date
When migrating data from past provider to Mews, allow importing the original creation date of all reservations being migrated to facilitate analysis of the booking pace (comparing booking creation date and guest's arrival date)

Different vivid colors to differenciate cancellations
We are missing a more efficient way to visualize cancellations in the reservation reports. Right now, you can see the cancelled status with a grey color that is not clear enough. Maybe red of a more vivid color.

Split origin 'in person' to: 'in person - walk in' and 'in person - extension'
This was already posted before and it got 25 votes. The moderator answered that there is already an 'in person' option but this is not enough as there are more actions that happen 'in person'. As a hotel you want to distinguish between walk-ins and extensions from reservations that both happen in person.

Offer the Option to Stop Recurring Automated Tasks
Tasks Management: certain automated events in Mews create Automated Tasks. Admins would love the option to disable some of the recurring tasks
Most automated Tasks, except for the Manual Settlement task enabled in the rate group setting, do not currently have the setting to edit/disable the task at will (for example: when payment requests are fulfilled).

kids icon in report
Add a unique icon for a third category of age so in reports, we can easily see the difference between the adults, the kids and the teenagers as for some products, teenagers pay same price as adults but for others they don't so we need this distinct category.

Reinstating a reservation
I would like to propose an enhancement to our reservation reinstatement feature that would greatly benefit our reception team and our guests. Currently, our system requires manually doing new reservations after a 12-hour period has elapsed. However, I suggest implementing an automatic process whereby upon reinstatement, the system adjusts the arrival date to the current day.
Consider a scenario where a guest's check-in date is scheduled for March 19th, with a check-out date of March 23rd. If the guest is a no-show on March 19th but arrives on March 20th, we aim to reinstate the reservation with the new check-in…

It would be very useful and beneficial to be able to filter the timeline to show spaces in room number order instead of space order.

Flexible product reservation
It would be really useful for us to have the ability, in a group reservation, to configure the consumption of products for each day in different ways.
Example for a 3 night stay:
- With the first night: consumption of one dinner only
- With the second night: consumption of breakfast, lunch and supper
- With the 3rd night: consumption of breakfast, dinner and supper. Plus the consumption of lunch on the morning of departure.
So, for example, our kitchen team could know the number of products to prepare for each day simply by consulting the Product Report.1 vote -
Simpler way to create proposals spanning multiple services
We mostly do team retreats in our location and for those groups, the "booking" is more of a "sales process". They reach out, describing roughly what they want, and we create a first offer for them. Then they usually want some changes, some back and forth and they accept.
I thought I could easily do this, using "inquiry reservation". So, customer calls and I create a reservation for them with the status inquiry and send them out the reservation, so that they can see the price and details. But now I realized, that when the offer spreads over several Services…

Locking reservations to timeline
Currently when a locked booking has it's properties changed the booking will automatically unlock. There is no notification of this and it can be missed by the user making the change. If left unlocked there is a high chance it is accidentally moved on the timeline causing issues dependant on the reason it was initially locked (Guest has requested a specific room etc)

Mandatory reason when waiving cancellation fees
Adding a mandatory reason for waiving cancellation fees would help with internal auditing and accountability. We have a lot of cases where staff don't remember why the fees were waived and we are losing out on money. Providing this extra option would give the GMs a a good tool to monitor.

customer statistics
In order to avoid seeing "None" under nationality in the customer statistics due to missing companion's profile, I would suggest that the system take the owner guest's nationality as default.

Closed-to-stay restrictions displayed on the Timeline
When closed to stay restrictions are in place it would be very helpful to show them on the timeline.
Our previuos PMS software (Slope) used to display them using locks.

multiple restrictions for same rate group
I was trying to have 3 sets of restrictions on a given Rate Group.
- One for arrivals up to 90 days
- One for arrivals between 91 & 120 days
- One over 120 days.Any smart ideas as to how this can be addressed, without having to create seperate rates to deal with each restriction.

Separation of timeline display order and upgrade order
We need to display our timeline with the double-full rooms at the bottom, in order to make the timeline clearer for our staff. However, this causes the double-full to be considered an "Upgrade" from a double-queen, which means I cannot move guests from a double-full room to a double-queen. I would like to request a separate "display order" and "upgrade order" variable in the system. Or, at the very least, allow me to move people to any category, and display whether the system considers it an "upgrade" or a "downgrade"

We would like to have a rate that closes at an occunpancy above the 85%.

Monthly timeline not functionable
could you please look into the monthly timeline as currently not a viable option (actually, it is totally useless).
you can only see bookings of 14+ nights - we need to see all of them
you can not move bookings - we need to be able to do so
