  1. we've noticed that when creating a reservation manualy from the PMS, on the “Details” page, the confirmation mode defaults is “Do not send”. By changing the reservation status (to Requested or Optional) or even back to Confirmed, the confirmation mode automatically changes from “Do not send” to “Send”. This can be a source of error if the person making the reservation doesn't notice it. I think it would be preferable for the confirmation mode to default to “Do not send”, and for the person making the reservation to change it manually if necessary.

  2. The ability to add ages for our Family room reservations. Our family rooms accommodate 3 adults or 2adlt and max. 2 children up to 11
    As this feature is not available we have set up the room occupancy for 3 persons; either 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child so we currently lose bookings from families with 2 adults and 2 children. If we allow a room occupancy of 4 persons we start receiving bookings with 4 adults and our sofa bed is not equipped to take the weight of 2 adults

  3. When generating the reservation report using the parameters in the drop-down lists, why can't we tick several items (like it's possible for the segments), but for all ? e.g. room categories or rates or nationalities or countries etc ?

  4. Email notifications can be a lot to go through especially if you are receiving a lot of daily communications to just one main address.
    It would be helpful to have visual reservation alerts (colorful) come up on the timeline or on the reservation screen in case of failed settlements (for any reason) - especially after check-in.

Guests occasionally have a reservation under one booking, followed by another reservation under a different booking number (e.g if they've decided to add another night or have been staying for work and adding another day as a personal expense). Under the current system they need to check out and get their cards recut which isn't a great customer experience, we need to manually allocate the same room for both stays, inform Housekeeping not to clear the room and if they haven't paid in advance, we need to pay extra attention to their billing as it's split over multiple bookings.

  6. Please add the timeline view to the mobile app. Some properties would like to see the timeline on their phones as well since they utilize them often and throughout the day. This feature request came from Erin at Boardwalk Homes Executive Guest Houses & Suites.

  7. Gender / Nationality / Date of birth by booking

    Could we make madatory for a guest who is booking to fill his Gender / Nationality / Date of birth as well ? Right now he only has to fill his last name, email and phone number.

    We have an all-female-dorm and some men keep booking it for some reasons. Gender with "Woman / Man / Non binary (or diverse?) at the moment of booking could really help us. As it is mandatory for us to have the nationality of the guest as well as his birth date, those could be…

  8. Residents can book their stay with an open end date. Guests are staying for more than 1 year at the same property and instead of offering them an end date and another guest can book the same room, they would like to book it for one guest only.

  9. If the client has MMMP active, they would like to be able to look up a reservation number and find then the property, as sometimes people call not knowing which hotel they are staying but giving you only the reservation number.

  10. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  12. Being able to change the arrival time and departure time on bookings that are staying on different dates without having to change the actual date.
    With other words, arrival and departure times are independent from the dates.

  13. It would be helpful to receive email notifications if a OTA booking has been modified. We have direct integrations for Booking.com and Expedia but do not receive any sort of modification if a booking is modified.
    We have previously requested this feature via a support ticket but were told this would not be considered but I'm sure other hoteliers would find this helpful - particularly as some upgrades have not been modified via Mews.

  15. We should be able to set what fields are mandatory to complete for reception before checking in a guest - email, nationality, gender eetc. This functionality is available on the kiosk so it doesn't make any sense it isn't the same across the board.

  16. Enable Hover Functionality for Rate Notes in Reservation Overview

    It would be extremely useful to have the ability to view rate notes in the reservation overview by hovering over the rate name—similar to the functionality that’s already available when creating a reservation. Rate notes often include essential information regarding rate inclusions, restrictions, and conditions that are vital for quick reference.

    Currently, accessing rate notes in the reservation overview requires additional steps, which can disrupt workflow efficiency. Implementing this hover function would make it easier for team members to quickly review important rate details, enhancing both accuracy and response time when…

  17. Now it is only possible to add a confirmation number in a reservation of there is an Travel Agency assigned. This option should always be available as many companies have there own confirmation number and cost centers they would like for us to add to a reservation, for it to be reflected on their bills/invoices.

    These can change from booking to booking and therefore not possible to put this in the company profile.

    Now there is a workaround by assigning a random OTA, then the bar appears you can fill in what you need and then delete the OTA. The…

  18. If you want to enter a new reservation, all rate groups and rates appear in the availability display. However, the rate window is not wide enough to display all rates. You have to scroll all the way down to expand the display to the right.
    I would like to see this bar for expanding the rate display above the rates window, ie below "rooms".
    This would also make it easier to see how far to the right you have to drag to see the desired rates

  19. Currently it is not clear that an availability block is made, on the schedule board. It looks like there is availability, but it actually has an availability block on it.
    So this is not visible on the planning board, and my colluages can not see that i made an availability block for this period en they can not make reservations.
