Dispay daily rate on the calendar
Displaying the rate (Best rate of the day) on the calendar would save time on two levels:
1- When making a reservation, it would be possible to inform the customer at a glance about the availability of a room and to communicate the rate of the room.2- displaying the rates on the calendar would help to check the correct configuration of the rates and to make changes/adjustments if necessary.

The property should have the option to decide if the future bookings with a lock on, can limit the availability in the inventory in order to ensure that a client can have the room number he wants.

Have the ability to set mandatory fields for reception upon check-in
We should be able to set what fields are mandatory to complete for reception before checking in a guest - email, nationality, gender eetc. This functionality is available on the kiosk so it doesn't make any sense it isn't the same across the board.

Change default state of Cancellation Fee box to unselected
When you go to manage a reservation, then Properties, then change the arrival or departure date, the "Apply Cancellation Fee" box appear, AND it is already checked. This is incredibly stupid. First, the box is completely useless since even if you were to use it to apply a cancellation fee, it doesn't add the tax. Second, why would you have it automatically checked, when more than 90% of the time there is no need to charge a cancellation fee, including 99.9% of time when you're changing the departure date. Weeks on the timeline could start on Sunday instead of Monday
Mews shows our weeks start on a Monday whenever the timeline is called up. For our purposes, it would be great if this could be changed so that the timeline starts on Sunday. Could you please add this option to the timeline? Many thanks!

Sequential Group Reservation Number
Currently, Mews offers individual confirmation for all reservations - but if they are within a group, they all fall under 1 group reference number that does not trigger an individual and sequential reference # for the reservations attached.
When duplicating Reservations, for example, it would be helpful if the reservation screen could trigger sequential group reservation numbers that are searchable but can also populate in the reservation report. Even in a simple group reservation setup, this form of referencing could be very useful.

Availability block visible in planning board
Currently it is not clear that an availability block is made, on the schedule board. It looks like there is availability, but it actually has an availability block on it.
So this is not visible on the planning board, and my colluages can not see that i made an availability block for this period en they can not make reservations.6 votes -
Order generates email for API reservations
Currently, Mews only sends emails to the notifiable reservation sources are "Booking Engine", "Channel Manager" and "Commander.
It doesn't happen for reservations created via API.

CTA automatically applied at a certain time
We would like MEWS to automatically apply a CTA at a certain time every day. We are not open 24 hours, so we have to go in daily at 7 pm and apply a CTA. It would be nice if this could be done automatically. Thanks!

Timeline - show more days at once
As much as I appreciate the horizontal scrolling functionality and the monthly view, both options fall short when it comes to getting an overview of the booking situation for a few weeks.
I would like to push the option of reducing the column width when looking at a daily timeline.
That way we could get a better look at the day by day booking situation for more than a week.
Considering already having the option to chose between a "default", "comfortable" and "compact" display of the row hights, using the same logic to reduce the column width is just logic…1 vote -

Please add the timeline view to the mobile app. Some properties would like to see the timeline on their phones as well since they utilize them often and throughout the day. This feature request came from Erin at Boardwalk Homes Executive Guest Houses & Suites.

Downgrades not syncing properly with OTAs linked with the direct interfaces
Customer X has booked room category #1. If I manually upgrade him (drag and drop) to a higher category, say #2, then the OTA's availabilities will be updated to reflect this upgrade. Then, If I manually downgrade X in his original requested category the OTA'a availabilities will be once more updated and revert to their original state. However, if X is downgraded not by manual drag and drop but by being "bumped" into his original category through the dragging and dropping of another customer Y onto X's room, then the new availabilities resulting from this bumped downgrade will not be…

Allow inquired reservations to auto release by system
There is a setting in the system to instruct optional and inquired reservations to auto release. To operate a waitlist it would be better to split this instruction so that inquired bookings auto release and optional reservations don't auto release.

Gender / Nationality / Date of birth by booking
Could we make madatory for a guest who is booking to fill his Gender / Nationality / Date of birth as well ? Right now he only has to fill his last name, email and phone number.

Missed check out flags as different colour on timeline and in app
It would be useful if the "missed check out" status could be represented on the timeline by the reservation changing colour, similar to the "missed departure" status where the reservation changes to orange the day after they were supposed to check out. This could also be shown in the app. Currently the "missed check out" status can only be seen in the Reservations Overview Report.
