Customize quotation settings for optional bookings
For confirmed bookings we can set up a default send/do not send for confirmations. Quotations for optional bookings are currently send by default, we would like to adjust the default setting to do not send.

Multiple rates on avalability block
Availability blocks currently only allow the option to enter 1 specific rate for a block. Since we operate with different rates based on roomtypes, and a group often combines roomtypes, it would be great being able to select multiple rates.
Also offering a group to book online with a discount based on public rates, it would be good to be able to offer them both a discounted flexible rate and a discounted non-refundable rate.18 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Have a filter on reporting to include or exclude Out Of Order Rooms
For reporting purposes and data analysis, it would be good to have the possibility to chose whether or not we want to incl/excl OOO rooms. At the moment, MEWS deducts this automatically

Group confirmations
We need to be able to create multiple confirmations regarding, example: a confirmation for group reservations with other conditions than a reservation for only one room. This is a highly requested feature for the ability to send correct conditions regarding the reservations!

Tasks - Add Customisable Templates
When setting a task, everything needs to be typed, whereas a lot of time could be saved if the hotel could customise a list of templates to use.
For example, 'Deliver Amenity' or 'Unzip Beds'. Quick little things like these!

Extra Origin Option : Walk-In
When creating a reservation the option "In Person" is too limited for us. We have quite a high number of reservations that are made at the desk for a future stay. Therefore we cannot see the difference between reservations made in advance and "Walk-Ins".
Here an extra option: Walk-In would provide extra reporting and analysis opportunities.

Rooming list - possibility to customise/remove columns: remove room numbers
The room number tab column in the rooming list should be customisable as we have many operational issues with the room numbers appearing on it and clients expecting to have those rooms when they check in. We should be able to remove this column if not relevant.

changing dates
When changing the dates of a reservation, in my opinion, there is a step missing where Mews confirms if there is availability for the same type of room and informs the new price (to be accepted or not).

Message
In the Messages (Chat with Guest) it would be very useful to at least display the Room Number (Apartment ID) of the Guest after or before his Name...
We always need to go back to timeline to find this info while chatting with the guest... very annoying and almost impossible with app on smartphone.

Last sell rooms
Currently you can set "reservation assignment strategy" to manage how rooms are allocated to reservations (e.g. top down, bottom up etc.). This works well, except there are a couple of rooms that we would like to allocate as "last sell". i.e. all other rooms get allocated automatically according to the reservation assignment strategy, with the exception of certain room numbers, which would get allocated last if the hotel was to be fully occupied.

Link available card to manually created reservations
When you have regular or returing guests it is very unconvenient and unwelcoming that the automatic settlement failure emails are automattically send to the guest, even if the card is on file. Guests do not want to endlesy update theire details again and again and again as they are expecting that after a couple of stays everything is fine for them.
Solution: allow the Mews Merchant to charge the card linked to the guest and not linked to the reservation.

Being able to customize the colors of the space status as right now it is hard to tell the difference.

Add a product to specific dates within a reservation
When you add a product on the reservation screen, it would be nice to be able to select what date you want it for instead of being put for the all stay and after have to cancel the date you don't want it

rooming list lock
If a room list is uploaded and thus guests are assigned to rooms, it would be good if the rooms were locked against moving by default.

See the difference of single use and double use in the booking summary
It would be helpfull to see in the reservation summery how many double use and single users are in the booking. Especially in group bookings, you need to count every time when the client adjust the number and forwards the namelist.

multiple task setting - templates
In a previous system we were able to set up templates for a task which consisted of multiple individual tasks.
For example if a guest had requested an extra bed, reservations would add one task to the booking which in turn triggered the tasks for housekeeping to set up the bed as well as remove it on departure).
This was SO handy as it avoided mistakes and reception / reservations only had to add 1 task.
Of course this works particularly well if you are able to link tasks to a specific event in the reservation like arrival and departure…37 votesHello Simone

Update departure date on selection
In the date filters, latest date remains in the past after earliest date has been set in the future.
To prevent additional manual work:
MEWS should automatically change the calendar date to a date later than the check-in date selected. For example, check in date 1/1/2021, check out date should default to 2/1/2021 (and not remain to todays date).54 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Space name in timeline and New Res screens are not consistent
In terms of standardization, there is no option to select name or short name, the short name will display on the timeline when the name does not fit. Same for all others screens on the PMS. Pending on how much space there is within relevant window, the space name could show in 3 different ways i.e "standard queen room" - "B1B" or even just "B" (for the timeline) if there is only 1 space within this category.

setting new task in reservations
when you try to set the date in the (new) task, the calendar heights changes continuously between months. this is really annoying as you need to watch where you click if it is for say 5 months later.
