Fire Attention
First of all there should be a Fire Attention tick box (ideally a tick box which is Quick or a note field where you can insert a comment like Wheelchair, Pet etc) in the Reservation screen.
This information should then come up in a report called Fire Report (or similar) which should be a 1 click print button in Mews like the Timeline, New Reservation button which is QUICK and EASY to print in case of emergencies. Important information on this report: Sorted by room number with the following information: Room, Last and first name and how many people and preferably a tick box at the end to make it easier to take count.
Why is this important? A feature that exists in many PMS systems to highlight which guest needs assistance in case of evacuation. Ideally in the report the reservation should be highlighted with a red line and a fire symbol (symbolising Fire Attention) or come up at the top of the report in its own box called Fire Attention followed by the rest of the reservations in house.
This would be amazing to get into place as its basic safety; those that work front of house needs these reports quickly and efficiently as you do not have time for filtering and printing etc in the case of an emergency.
