I would like to submit a feature request regarding reporting for availability blocks / group reservations in the Reservation Report.
Previously, I used the old Reservation Report to isolate a specific group by its Group Name and then generate a report with the number of nights and the total amount. This was very useful after a group had already departed.
Now that the old Reservation Report is no longer available, I cannot do this properly in the new Reservation Report.
The current alternatives are not reliable enough for this use case:
Filtering by Company is not sufficient, because it also includes individual business traveler reservations made by the same company, which mixes different reservation types together.
Filtering by Rate is also not reliable, because the block-specific rate does not always appear or work consistently after the group has departed.
Example:
Availability block name: DESJARDINS0626
Dates: 12 June 2026 to 22 June 2026
Company: Desjardins
What I need is a reliable way to isolate only the reservations belonging to one specific availability block / group, even after departure, without mixing them with other individual reservations from the same company.
Desired solution:
Restore the old Group Name filter in the Reservation Report
or
Add a dedicated filter in the new Reservation Report for Availability Block Name / Group Name that works reliably for historical reservations as well
This is especially important for operational and financial reporting, because we need to retrieve:total nights
total amount
only the reservations belonging to that specific group/block
