Multi-department allocation for Mews products
Currently, a product like breakfast (€20) is fully assigned to a single revenue center (“Breakfast”).
💡 Proposal: allow automatic allocation of revenue across multiple centers, either by fixed amount or percentage (e.g., €5 beverages + €15 food).
This would provide more accurate reporting, a true analytical view, and reduce manual adjustments.
Note: Breakfast is just an example. This approach could be applied to many products and services across Mews PMS, POS & EMS.

Currently, each product generates revenue in a single center. For combined products or packages (e.g., breakfast, hotel + F&B packages, multi-service offers), this does not reflect the real economic contribution.Requirement:
Allocate a single product to multiple revenue centers
Configurable by fixed amount or percentage
Setup directly in the product configuration
Example:
Fixed amount: €5 revenue “Non-alcoholic beverages” + €15 revenue “Food”
Percentage: 25% / 75%
Benefits:
Accurate accounting: each center reflects its actual revenue share
Better financial analysis: finer insight into margins and performance per category
Time savings: fewer manual adjustments at month-end
Operational consistency: aligns with combined and multi-activity products
Proposal:
Add a “Multi-department allocation” option in the product setup, allowing precise, automated revenue distribution for improved reporting and analytics.Note: Breakfast is used as an example, but this feature could apply to many products and services across Mews PMS, POS & EMS.
