Availability block+ product rule
When you put in a rate in Availability block the product rule that you have made should for the rate should follow. If I make a Availability block today and put in a rate the product rule for that rate doesn´t follow and I need to make a new product rule for every new block I do.

Currently, when creating an availability block, users have to select an existing rate plan or 'Original Rate'. The system then creates a sub rate plan, only relevant to the block itself, making the original rate redundant for the block.
This means that any product rule applied to the original rate plan doesn't carry over to the created sub rate for the block.
The sub rate plan cannot be seen in the main Rates section but is visible in the Product Rules section to allow you to to apply products to it (so doubling the work, potentially).
As part of an availability block dashboard, if a block Booking Engine (BE) is needed, you can only use existing BEs, or, create a new BE, which, if you make changes to it, such as adding a category, those changes are reflected on the block BE.
Wondering why we couldn't have the same behaviour for blocks rate plans?
